Last night the cops had forced people who were leaving the peaceful protest (told this by a cop) at Cluan Place TOWARDS the Short Strand instead of up Templemore Avenue so caused friction with the residents in the area and cops got it from both sides.
The sirens earlier made me phone my mum to check she wasn't stupid enough to pick my cousins bf up from work only to find that she had and was then stuck with police etc in front of her  She asked the cops how she'd get out and they let her through thank goodness.
There was also trouble earlier somewhere on the Antrim road near Jolleys.
Also at dundonald there was trouble. Some blogs have it that water cannon were seen driving through the city centre but don't know were they we're going to.
Helicopters and sirens going off all over the area but I've been out at the door and asked taxi driver next door how it was and he said it's peaceful so don't know what they're looking for.
Awk sure it'd be no fun would it:o
Spiralling good luck with that as they say:Dnever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
Going to try and get a bit of sleep, helicopter still circling but not nearly as often. I could see past it if I lived near the trouble but where I am is very quiet and everyone's in bed long ago!
Good nightSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

I have a womble from yesterday now (Fri. night) - where the 3 hour wait has just passed, but it has one multibuy (for Sada juice £1.49 each, 2 for £2.50) on it, therefore I've decided to wait until, say, 8am today and see if that produces anything.
They bought a number of whoopsies, which I am hoping are either not included in the comp. or else come back non-comp vs the rivals (or whichever one matters). Still 8 other diff. items though. Only one womble from yesterday I'm afraid. Oh well, not to mind, as it is a moving feast, with receipts being dropped, picked up, dropped and picked up each hour through the day (and night). I got 3 receipts when I was at Sada tonight (or rather last night now) but there were 2 of them, both shops done within a minute of each other, with only 4 items on them!! Some people, eh!!! ....:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
