I dont think anyone would be interested in mine total - £6.50
Wouldn't normally total them up - mine are carp too since 1st Jan £23.68 BUT this includes the beauty I got the other night of £12.17. Is also over 13 receipts- I have probably wombled 60 receipts to get this...so £11.50ish from 59 receipts!!! Does this makes sense.never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

Some might also say that the dumpyjock comments have run their course too??:)

Really how old are you?:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I know they gave them to the soldiers in WW1 but I thought by the 50's/60's people were starting to be aware even if they took no notice
Everyone smoked who I knew when I was growing up. I don't think they started putting warnings on the packets until the 80's.0 -
Evening all.....Well did a quick trip to Tesco tonight to get 1/2 price cat food..and look what they had reduced...there was literally tons of it and the SA said it would probably all end up in the bin at the end of tonight...I've already frozen the "special" cream..champagne, brandy etc but the double will be made into butter tomorrow..ranged in price from 1p - 4pIf it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly!0 -
Good evening everyone, late checking in.
To those whose little ones are giving up their afternoon beauty sleeps..... can sympathise. My DS1 had an afternoon nap up until school, however..... was a total shock when DS2 decided at 6 months, that no daytime sleep was required! 20 years on, can still very much remember those days!
Cream reduced in my T's tonight too, just got nearly 700g of butter made, for 50pPopped it into the freezer for using later in the year. Makes real buttercream icing a viable option for those special cakes!
Also look out for nuts (mixtures/halves/choc coated) that have Christmas on the packaging. Been reduced to half price, eg, 400g of walnut halves now just £1.50.
Good night allThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

You been looking in the grass and bushes too then?!:rotfl::rotfl:
We'll bump into each other one of these days lol ...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I was telling oh about my wombles tonight and he said he had one drying on the radiator. 1st he complains to Morrisons about the cafe and gets a £5.00 voucher and now he is wombling. He is learning. However when I go shopping with him he always buys things that I have in my stash and when I tell him off he says he has to buy things as he always forgets to takes freebies when he drops me off.
Now shall I take the decorations down tonight before bed. It is DD's 27th birthday and there will be Birthday cards. She was going out for a meal and clubbing with her girlfriends but a few pulled out today so she cancelled. Now her and 2 friends and me are going for an Indian locally instead. Then I will come home and they can go for drinks. I got her a bday cake in Morrisons last night reduced from £6.00 to 49p and a 59p one reduced from £7.50 for my 8 year old niece. Paid with an APG.0 -

It is not a problem for me at all, just like I am taking all the dumpyjock comments in the fun way that they are intended.
I have to admit though, I am having a bit of a stressful time at work at the mo and perhaps I am bringing a bit of my grumpiness to this thread in the evening. I will bid you all goodnight and promise a much more cheerful sfsb in the morning.
