The problem is that the weather is very good (so mild)- the police always pray for bad weather- rain hail and siberian winds. Hope the situation improves for your sake:) Very quiet around me but then always is.
There was trouble at Templemore ave/castlereagh road tonight and last night. Last night the cops had forced people who were leaving the peaceful protest (told this by a cop) at Cluan Place TOWARDS the Short Strand instead of up Templemore Avenue so caused friction with the residents in the area and cops got it from both sides.
The sirens earlier made me phone my mum to check she wasn't stupid enough to pick my cousins bf up from work only to find that she had and was then stuck with police etc in front of her  She asked the cops how she'd get out and they let her through thank goodness.
There was also trouble earlier somewhere on the Antrim road near Jolleys.
Also at dundonald there was trouble. Some blogs have it that water cannon were seen driving through the city centre but don't know were they we're going to.
Helicopters and sirens going off all over the area but I've been out at the door and asked taxi driver next door how it was and he said it's peaceful so don't know what they're looking for.
Awk sure it'd be no fun would it:o
