We just had the mother of all hailstorms and had a complete whiteout

My mum said she hasn't seen a hail whiteout like that since the 60's

Hiya, back from hospital, MIL ok, sorted and taken home. She needs a referral to see a consultant, so got that organised, just waiting for an outpatient appt now. Her blood pressure was up too as she hadn't taken her new antihypertensive, cos she reckoned that caused her 'problem' (nothing to do with it, just coincidence) so Dr insisted she took it there and then, lol, she was not happy about it, as still adamant that 'the new tablet caused it'.
Anyway, all sorted for the moment. DH has gone to bed, but I had to stay up to catch up and to check my apg. Pleased to confirm that the sally is still working.
Thanks to Spirallingdown for reminding everyone about the storage thingys as below:

T's does sell these off periodically. I got 2 when they were selling off the Keter shelving, so bought 3 lots of shelving and the 2 boxes really cheap. I am pleased to say they are all full now!

I've just remembered to tell you about these: · Argos Value Range Uplighter Floor Lamp Twin Pack - Silver.

I bought them today to see what they were like and DH assembled them. I was surprised that they are really nice.:j The bases are heavy and they are very stable. The shades are fairly thick plastic, but I'm going to get the enamel paints on them, to tart them up a bit. Ideal for the conservatory, and they will take LED bulbs, when I can find some cheap/glitchy ones. For the moment I've put in a couple of eco friendly jobs, as I've got 'lots' from when my local T's sold them at 2 4 10p a long time ago.
Well, bedtime for me now. Hugs to all in need. Sorry for the long post. Night night.
