  • Good evening everybody, I hope you have had a good day and feeling well. I had a fabulous shop at Mr T. I got there just in time for the last veg reduction, then they did all the meat early. There was loads there that were 3 4 £10.
I got 6 salmon steak 6 steaks and 3 pkts of diced chicken for £3. I also got some diced beef for a £1 and some deli stuff reduced by %75. I filled six carrier bags for £8. I was made up.

I also popped to Mr A to see if I could get another APG. will find out in 4 mins. It has been a great nights shop. I got it all in the freezer which amazed me.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

This rings such a bell with me I had to reply. I too have these episodes locked away in a dark corner as I blame myself for not doing more and for insisting that she went into hospital in the first place (not that there was another option). I honestly feel that it isn't so much her passing that is still affecting me but the way it happened. I can't even face going to the crematorium where her ashes are buried as I feel I failed her. I know people think you embelllish, exaggerate, add bits on when you retell bad experiences but I can honestly say I don't need to, it was beyond neglect the treatment that my mum got, I tried contacting patient services etc and got nowhere. No point now as we can't bring her back.

Just concentrate on what you wrote in your last sentence. You can beat yourself up for eternity but it's not going to bring your loved one back. Also when I look back I know for a fact that every decision I took I took with the facts available to me at that time given too me by so called pro's so really if im totally honest with myself I would have done the same things all over again (Even the mistakes) because we are all einstines after the fact....(Hope you get where im coming from).
I know I did my best - I could have done no more, But I have still blamed myself sooo so much that it was driving me insane but hey "what can you do ?" You sound just the same as me living with some memories you don't/can't ever go back through. You should console yourself like I have with the fact that you have done YOUR BEST.
Im sorry I can't offer you an easy way where I can say hey "this worked in a week" but I can say I now live my life most days without thinking of the guilt/anger ect ect. Right im off now for a few glasses of wine - Take care of yourself and have some bloody "me" time.
Good luck don't let them get ya down.

Finally settled on two packs of the big size of the Bernard Matthews Turkey nuggets not stocked in A (worked out cheaper per unit than the Birds Eye chicken nuggets on £2.49). Then got to the till and the amount came to 6p more than the BM - and then (I never make a scene when shopping of course) found I had no change in my pocket - only the £1 coin in the trolley so had to leave all the items at the till (customers queueing behind) whilst I went back to the trolley park (did have my debit card, but didn't feel like using it for just 6p).
