Changing sky dish lnb

Just bought a Humax Foxsat HDR box as Freeview signal in our area is terrible.
Live in a 2 bed rented bungalow which already had a dish and cable in place. It is a more modern style elliptical dish but only has a single lnb and single cable running into the living room. We are using the Humax box on this single cable at present.
I know to utilise the full functions of the Humax box I need to run a new twin cable in and want to replace the lnb with a quad one.
I have sourced these parts at wildly differing prices online.
Questions are:
1. Is it worth spending extra money on the lnb and cable or will the cheaper kits off ebay etc do the same job?
2. Is it an easy enough job to change the lnb? Are there different fittings for different dishes? I am confident in my diy abilities for this and know running cable in will be an easy job.
Many thanks in advance for any replies and hope everyone has a lovely christmas

Yes there are. Google is your friend.

Just another hijack but could be relevant, is the standard quad LNB suitable for HD or is a new one required. The one I have is about 6 years old and was fitted for my original SKY + boxes before I changed to HD a few days ago. Thanks0

Stick to the parts mentioned above, and you won't go wrong. I'd take the opportunity whilst I'm up there to replace your entire single line with good quality shotgun cable, and also run shotgun from the other 2 feeds into the roofspace, in case you want to use them in the future.0

Thanks for the helpful responses, sounds like an easy enough job when you've got the right bits. Have sourced the proper Sky quad LNB and cable cheaply online!Stick to the parts mentioned above, and you won't go wrong. Thanks almillar, yeah makes sense to run extra cable in while doing it, could stick another box in the bedroom then and shut the missus away in there0
