A list of dodgy job offers on UJM

Hi,
I appreciate if people could post examples of dodgy looking job offer on UJM so that those that are genuinely looking for work can be informed and avoid being scammed by it.
No offence but I personally do not wish to work for a sex chatline for 10p per minute as self-employed. Some people are ok with that and others might say beggers can't be choosers but I do have a certain standard.
I think this thread could be a source of educational info to jobseekers as well as for investigation purposes. For example, if any listings turn up to be really dodgy/fake then perhaps it could be reported to DWP. In fact, it should be DWP that should be doing this kind of work in the first place but they are promoting 'get your work done for nothing' hence they haven't bothered to get references from prospective employers either.
If UJM turns up to be full of non-existant job placements, how are you supposed to be able to find a job? :rotfl: You could be doing hours of job search for nothing.

Lets hope everyone is not wasting hours on one site alone. Takes 5 mins to search jobs there to be honest.Hi,

I think finding a suitable job is not easy. I only have small photography jobs that I am currently doing. The job pays less but I like photography...0

More than that. I have searched London and certain postcodes with a 20 mile radius and have got Ipswich!! Just spend two minutes per week randomly applying with a generic CV on that UJM site. If called for interview, claim for travelling expenses and go to interview but perform poorly. Arrive on time, pick your nose, talk like you have speech impediment, and if you have to write then take a lot of time writing. No employer will hire you if you act like a complete unemployable loser. When asked why this job, just say uh I was told to apply.0

You sound like a scrounger.
I think the op was asking for the dodgy job ads to be highlighted not ways to fail genuine interviews - which are a rare opportunity at the moment.0 -

Brilliant advice - all which will result in you being referred to the WP early!0 -

I'd make an excellent scrounger no job centre plus advisor can do a thing about.
But no, I'm employed.

Why would you want to?
I've been on JSA a few times and quite frankly, the money is bloody awful. I don't know how people claim it's easier to live on benefits because thats certainly never the lifestyle I've had from it. Admittedly most jobs don't give you any sort of lifestyle these days either but at least it's a bit more than the dole.0
