I've just managed to catch up with my own thread, thanks for your replies,
not long after writing this, i fell asleep, hubby couldn't wake me at tea, and i was burning, he ended up calling the on call doctor out, i was awake when she called, and she confirmed i had flu, and my temp was raging hot, even though i'd been lying on the bed (not under it) and the windows were open to try and get my temp down for 4 days.

She gave me a prescription for anti biotics.

Christmas day went ahead, for the family, as hubby had done most of the preperation already, the family didn't stay that long, but i could hear them downstairs.

yesterday afternoon, was the 1st time i come downstairs, and all the decs and tree have gone, i stayed up for an hour and then went back to bed.

I still feel very weak, luckly i'm of work next week, so that will give me time to recover.
