Yes you can. But if you go back to page 5 (I think) twinklystar used to make and sell it and may give you the recipe if you PM her (just dont muddle it up with Twink's Hob Nob recipe!)0

Why the problem with animal products in the bokashi and veg? - surely that's what in blood, fish and bone or bonemeal and that gets put on veg plants
Nothing at all wrong with it - just had some strict veggies who wanted no animal products involved in growing their food! Wouldn't have bothered me but I could see their point so was happy to oblige - each to their own0 -
Apart from the tap on the bottom does anyone know what the difference is from a normal waste container.0

It's got a sort of grid in the bottom to let the liquid drain off and a really tight fitting lid (my fingers can't get it on!)Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0

I found this and might have a go at making one.0

farmerbrown.co.uk is p&p free over £35.00 so cheapest deal is:
£30.00 for 5kg + £7.00 for 1kg = £37.00 for 6kg = £6.17 per kg
Just checked Wrigglywigglers:
£63.00 inc p&p for 20kg = £3.15 per kg
Does Bokashi bran have a long shelf life?
We've been using a Bokashi for about 2 years and just found the bran had gone mouldy for the first time after keeping it in a shed. It must have been damp there and the bran was unusable so it's gone on the compost heap. Therefore for long shelf life make sure the bran is kept dry.
ALSO... when we first had our bins they both leaked onto the kitchen floor from where the taps fitted. The pong was horrible. This was fixed by sealing the screw-in taps with silicone sealer. Has anyone else had this problem?0 -
Hi there, how's every going with their bokashi? I'm still looking for a cheap one but I know some people were having problems so am keen to hear if they were sorted in the end?Trying hard to remember... Greetings from a new Bokashi-ite,
I read in an earlier post on this thread not to use Bokashi liquid on fruit or vegetable plants. Does anyone know why this is? If this stuff is as good for plants as everyone says it is, I'd sure like my large vegetable garden to benefit.
Thanks in advance!

Hi BigBash. As far as I'm aware you cna use it as fertilizer but you have to make sure it is diluted appropriately and only used on the soil, not the plant itself or it's too strong and can damage the plant.Trying hard to remember...
