Not posted on here for ages so thought it was time to declare my final
total for 2013. Didn't quite make the debt free for 2013 but i have made a massive dent in it. Feeling quite successful as I have paid for a holiday, car insurance, tax, husbands 50th (trip to dublin), sons 21st and nieces 18th and top it all xmas as well. It is the first year ever where I have not increased my debt. I usually pay loads off then xmas add to it again. My remaining debt is on a 0% until november 2014 so I need to pay £120 per month for this to go. Bring on next years challengeIi am going to be debt free. Also landed extra hours at work so that's gonna help massively. Anyway a big thank you to everyone on here I couldn't have done it without you. Merry xmas everyoneMortgage free 25/9/2019 8years and 7 months early 😁😁😁0 -

Suddenly it's Christmas tomorrow! That means it has been pay day today, but unfortunately I don't have my secure banking gadget so can't sign in to make any payments.
On a side note, I'm a bit annoyed - I bought Mum's Christmas present on Amaz0n. It cost a grand total of £17.22, but I didn't realise that was over the customs limit of £15 (I didn't even realise there was a customs limit for goods that price). They've charged me £3.44 in VAT on it, which is fair enough, given that that's the law, but I'm rather miffed by the £8 handling fee  it seems ludicrous they can charge that much! It feels very un-just, somehow.0
