Well I suppose when we come to buy, we'll know what's a good deal...? I was always sensible when it came to men, but is there such a thing as falling in love with the wrong flats? :rotfl:

that's kind of why i look - so i can keep on top of house prices and see if they're increasing / decreasing etc and what we can get for our money.

just seen the video of the boston marathon explosions - so sad :(:( and three people reported dead.

I have a wedding to attend in August (I think it's August), I've worn all my dresses to other weddings at least twice now. So I've been completely courageous and bought this pattern and a gorgeous chinese brocade in turquoise with butterflies. I also bought a black chinese brocade with dragons, so I can make two dresses the black being the trial run. All for the cost £20 :D how fab is that!

It all looks lovely, you are clever :)

    Hi everybody,

    #24 12124.40 / 14300gbp = 84.79%

I've thrown every bit of spare money to the Bank of Mum and Dad this time, so the mortgage overpayment and the token savings account is going to have to wait.

The percentage is really starting to cause some excitement now :j, I think the way forward for me is to do the same next time too as I'm getting really impatient for this debt to be gone.

Just 2175.60gbp still to go :T

    Woo hoo so close :T:T
Hi all, can i join in please :)

i've been reading over the last few days, and what you have all achieved is absolutely fantastic :T WELL DONE TO ALL :T

I've had a few ups and downs over the past few years and finally getting close to being debt free. a snowball calculator says i will be debt free by x-mas 2014 but hoping you lovely inspirational people will help keep me on track and achieve it sooner.

spag bol- at the moment the grand total is approx. £5800 just waiting for last 2 statements to come in for this month (should be in the next week or so) to get an exact figure.

i paid off my halifax card last month and the feelings was fantastic, but i received a 12month 0% balance transfer offer last week so am going to take them up and transfer £1500 from my barclay card to them, apparently saving £454 in interest over the year

will be reading daily and posting when new statements arrive to inform of my total.

Good luck to all and looking forward to the day i stop wasting £400 a month lining someone elses pocket :)

Yes of course, sorry for the delay :o Welcome to the challenge and you will be number 168 :)
