  • Update from me, sorry I'm not around much but work is *so* busy. Not a huge amount cleared but i've also saved £2K for our holiday which is due to be paid at the end of April.

An ickle payment but nevertheless its one step closer!

Might not get both debts paid this month - OH changed his insurance and the payments went fro £30 to £85!!!! querying it and then finding out what the final balance is to pay it off, they quoted £260 when we redid the quote for the new car whereas the payments add up to £410, which is a lot?!!

    Hi everyone

Thought I should post my update so it can be counted for the March update!

Lots going on just now but main thing being that we have sold our house! Moving out in May, lots to pack up as well as eBay and Gumtree! Going to my mums if we can't find anything before then. Not ideal but means we can pay loads off our debt then. Banks are wanting credit cards paid off before they will offer the mortgage that we need coz only taking my income into account as DH on DMP till Sept. We have equity in home but I want to pay off loads before paying off cards with this money.

    Anyways, my update is....

    £2445.16/£16971.38 14.4%

Got a £400 PPI cheque coming and bonuses in a few months so hoping to get lots cleared :j

Congrats to everyone who has paid off anything, every penny counts

    Morning All

DH got paid today and it is the first bonus month since his promotion at work. He was so excited he set the alarm for midnight so he could check the internet banking as soon as it went in:eek::rotfl: It didn't show until later though;)

I have worked out where the money is going but as DH is so thrilled about our bank balance I am not going to move money about until tomorrow when we will make some purchases and the balance will go down anyway.

Hoping to pay £1200+ off the debt this month, I forgot I had already counted £250 for my college fees that didnt actually get paid off last month so less than I previously said it would be.

Tomorrow morning I am off to pay in the change from my pots and post off my broken phone. We should also get some lift money today too:)
