I'm not overkeen on it and bought a set a few years back and the smell gave me a headache:(But the hand balm with rose oil in the Gok bag this year is gorgeous if you like a rose smell:)It comes in a nice bag with the balm, nail & cuticle oil, nail files and cuticle sticks. I'll definately be getting these in the 75% sale if they have them (Which they proably will, because they seem to have everything left);)

Don't suppose you have a link to that one............. *off to Boots Site again*

Never mind, think I found it lol. Thanks for that :)

I thought Boots had leant their lesson last year! No one bought the !!!! Wan gift sets, and it looks like very few people bought it this year. Can't they just cancel the contract and order other things that might sell instead?

My daughter tried the Gok Wan range last year and loved it. I got her the OOTW this year too although in hindsight if this is offered next year I think I'll wait and see if it's in the sale as the saving is the same. I bought myself a small gift set in the half price sale instore to try the body scrub as I wanted a kit with a full sized in for value. Must say I am really pleased with the scrub as it left my skin feeling very soft on first application.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

IMO they can get rid of the Champney's too, can't stand the stuff, it dries my skin out like Dove does and that's saying something!

Over-order the clinique sets next year please, so there's LOOOOOOOADS left for the 50% sale AND the 75% one :rotfl:

My order was there after all, all present and correct :) Really happy with this year's sale items.

Had a brief look upstairs and there was a ton of stuff left. 75% signs out on the 2 sets that are on special offer.

I notice that everyday things like talcum powder never get reduced in the sale, it is one of the very few things that I go there to buy but its seldom on offer :(

The annual 50% off sale is for the Christmas range only, to clear out the stock to make room for the next seasonal range.

For everyday items it always pays to shop around/ google to get the best prices, take advantage of free delivery and bulk buy etc.

Johnsons 200g baby powder sells in Poundland and sometimes you can get a good bulk deal on Amazon. Wilko online does the Johnsons 500g for £1.95 and you can get it delivered to store for free.
