Evening all. I went to Westwood cross . About 50 in queue. It was like supermarket sweep lol !!!!!!!!! I got lots of stuff so much of everything spent 120. Pounds included stuff for mum. Never seen so much as go every year. Hardest part was paying as queues were so long took morning off work.lucky I live only ten mins drive. What annoyed me was people had big trolleys full o the brim and built side of trolley up to put in more stuff,,,!!!! Pleased with my lot presents sorted out and s and g for me.

I too went to Westwood Cross.. Got £48 worth of goodies and then went to Margate and got a further £22 worth . Went last year and there weren't so may people, but nevertheless I thought it was very civilized, no pushing and shoving. I agree though, it took a long time to get out and by then I was having hot flushes big time!!

    Cheers Planet Thanet

Charged me delivery though but my £10 order yesterday was free delivery for some reason???

Was it you that placed two orders in a short space, one with points and one with card? If so, maybe the second order went through as free delivey as you had already paid for delivery on one order.

It is free delivery on orders over £45 so maybe if you added sale items for £11.25 it might go through as free delivery again.

Don't be ridiculous. She's describing what happened. Nothing racist about saying an Asian person did something, just like saying a fat person barged past, or an American woman did the same.

    Over sensitive!

I was just about to post something along the same lines. IF it was meant how people are taking it I dont agree BUT if it was meant as a description of someone so they would reconise themselves thats different. If someone said to the "15 bald men being greedy and clearing the shelves in so and so store" it would be the same and if the 15 bald men read the post they would know that the OP meant them, as an example or are we not allowed to decribe people anymore? I'm sure it wasnt meant how people are taking it.

DEPENDS in what way OP meant it but give them the benifit and see if they post again with the way they meant it first.

Do the £5 Sanctuary sets I posted above come with any vouchers??...

I'd be CHUFFED if they did as only buying the cheaper sets / bits & pieces so presume the vouchers are only in the large 11 quid ones? :p

I got the Santuary sheer indulgence but didn't see any vouchers are they supposed to have them?

Hi - beauty products have a kind of 'best within date' - search the back label - usually says 6M, 12M , 18M, 24M etc inside a little pot with the lid open picture (hope that makes sense)
    hope this helps

Ooooooooooooooooooooo Thank you :), just looked and found what you meant and one of the items I was worried about has 24M on it woo hoo. Now to go look at the rest.

Thanks - I have never done this before - usually end up paying full price at last minute. This seems like such a good idea but would feel really stupid if stuff was out of date when I gave it!

The 12M 18M etc on the back of the products is how many months the product will keep after opening, not the shelf life.

I think the point people are making is you don't say ''That WHITE woman pushed me out of the way'' or ''That English woman cleared the shelves'' so it was an unessecary reference to the peoples ethnicity!

I even wouldn't say ''That FAT woman pushed me out of the way'' as that is offensive too , why not just say ''someone'' with no reference to size or nationality etc , it is less offensive as in non offensive & no-one would have commented regarding the post as no-one would have been offended by it at all , the culprits who work in teams etc know who they are even if they read this thread but there is no need to make references to their size or ethnicity at all :)
