True, but was with a friend when she bought lots of the baby grow packs in the same sizes, Sa told her she could only buy x amount, friend complained and said it was for her kids, SA got some one to come to till to help sort it out, then a manager was called who oked it after she showed photos of her triplets.
This was during the last 25% off they did. She has the same problem with baby milk.
eklynne - Don't know why, as I only have my experience to share. I was also buying clothes for my baby but my order was seperate to hers and ALOT smaller so had no problem myself.0 -

I mean really, properly, truthfully got one yet ?
I want to update my Xmas list, but don't to tempt fate.
I got acknowledgement at 3.50 and conformation at 4.30.
I have a dispatch email for my first order that I had pre-filled basket.0 -
Which of the gifts set have vouchers in? Not so much bothered about using them myself (though I will...:o) but don't want to leave them in as I guess they will expire by xmas.
I havent checked through the stuff I bought yet, but going on past purchases the No 7 often has a voucher in the box, and I got the soap and glory big bag of stuff for my christmas , and they have vouchers for use up to March or April.:)
I got caught out with this before though,a few years back. I gave someone a lovely french manicure nail set by No 7 for their Christmas (which I had bought in the sale in Jan) decided to keep other box to myself, when I opened it there was a voucher for No 7 to be used by the previous May or June, cant quite remember, but ooooh was horrified :eek: that id been caught out, not that they said anything, but still. So motto is alway check all the boxes,
a) so it doesnt look bad ur giving somone a gift , with a voucher way past its date,
and b) so that you can, if you want use the voucher yourself. Its no good to the person receiving the gift anyway if its well after the date, so you may as well use it:T0 -

That makes more sense. Your last post made it sound like she took in pictures of her neighbours and their dog. :rotfl:0 -
I wouldn't worry too much about most of the sealed products going off. At work, I know that we put stock away by the end of January and that stock won't come out again until the following Sept/Oct when we put up the Christmas displays. Similarly, I know certain stock items were put out this Christmas that were originally from last Christmas.
Storing it in a cool, dry place sealed at home is no different from a shop keeping it stored in their warehouse, after all.0 -
Popped to Glasgow fort today and seriously what makes normal people behave in such a manner. I actually had peor push me out the way... Now we all like a bargin but seriously it's for shower gel. Make up &wrapping paper!!
I got everything I was looking for and in and out fairly quickly. I actually seen some one hit a child on head with basket trying to push passed to get more things...?!?!0 -
I visited the Fort Birmingham store this morning upon them opening, there was a queue of about 25 people who all practically ran in when the doors opened. There was a lot of shelve sweeping and people blocking / getting in the way with trolleys but I just squeezed myself down the aisles the best I could whilst being as polite as I could!
Very pleased with my gifts although I was hoping to get one soap and glory set but there weren't any. In total I bought 12 sets -
2 x Joules kids bath sets
2 x slipper boots
2 x FCUK sets (just realised these contain a 2013 diary so not sure what to do with these!)
3 x small men's Ted Baker wash sets
1 x No7 men's skincare set
1 x boots botanics men's skincare set
1 x kids glitter tattoo set
All for £41.00 so overall I'm really really pleased. A saving of £123.00!!!
Mild pushing and shoving but generally not too bad atmosphere although some people really do take the p*$$ with the amount of stuff in their trolleys! They grab it and don't even look at it!Member of Quidco and Dooyoo

I would not like to say so in this case but there are lots of stolen goodson ebay and that cam sometimes account for some sellers having large stocks. Also worth considering is with the 3 4 2, bonus points and staff discount maybe it could be worthwhile. maybe they had loads of pointss saved and wanted to turn them into cash?
We can have ideas about the whats and the whys, but may never know ...0 -
