We had our lovelynew bathroom fitted, however DH has been really stressed at work in the lastcouple of weeks as they are being audited so on Tuesday morning he decided tohave a bath to help him relax, however when he let the bath water out itpromptly came gushing out of the light fittings and anywhere else it could in thekitchen ceiling! Not a great morning and not a great start with our newbathroom. :(

I'm going to have to google Nigellas peanut butter choc now, sounds intriguing :) You need not worry about DSs graduation, you will be bursting with pride, no other emotion will get a look in :) if I can do it, you definitely can too :) Did you manage to get any extra seats? You are sounding so much brighter I'm glad to say xxx

Loving your elf name, the recipe is in her christmas book if that is any help, shout if you want it i can post it for you, oh the panic has set in already, i knew it would, didnt sleep too good, woke up with headache and after having 3 good housework, baking, productive days have nothing whatsoever for today, yes we did thankyou so we are all able to go, he is absolutely loving his new job, he comes home every night and says " i love my job" :rotfl:i said to him i wonder how long it will be before you come home and say "oh what a pants day" :rotfl:Glad you have sorted your lists, and what a bargain for DGD2, hope you have a good day today
Another day, how can I shake this one up? I know, I'll go to DSs and wave my dusters at him! (he is hopeless, he asked for a vacuum cleaner for his birthday and now wants a steam cleaner for Christmas (off his sister and brother) but has no inclination on their use! Baby steps, baby steps.
Now, for my next jolly..... off to Harrogate and York next week with fave cous, which I am enjoying already.
Nanamia, I love the idea of a decal, but would be afraid of marking my (your) lovely new walls.

I'm back from holidays & back at work, am trying to not spend until I get paid in a couple of weeks but I managed to get some bodyshop stuff last night after getting an alert from hotuk on a glitch.
Ordered 2 £25 gift sets, 2 £5 gift cards & a free 50ml body butter all for £12.99. Tried again this morning but it looks like it has been fixed so am very happy to have caught it in time.
I might keep one gift set for myself as a treat but the rest can go as stocking fillers.
Apart from that am on strict no spending for the next 2 weeks (disclaimer: pending further glitches, lol)

Glad you had a fantastic holiday, wow what a bargain on bodyshop stuff, well done you

PINKSTEPS love the bell, i got so carried away browsing the poundland website after your link i forgot to post
PRINCESSKITTY omg  i bet the stress soon came back for DH, oh what a nightmare, are they going to come back and fix all the mess for you?
CHOCCYMOOSE it is FIESTY who has the shop my lovely :) your weekend sounds fab so glad you spent it all on you, good for you, you must be so relieved DS has settled into school, and DS2 is doing so well, what a difference a decent school makes, i feel sorry for these kids in bad schools, it makes or breaks their life choices doesnt it?
GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY i bet they were hilarious, i love Jenny Eclair, she just says it how it is, doesnt care

Right doesnt look like mince pies will be done today, oh well hey ho :)

Mrs Christmas thank you so much for the Argos tip, managed to sort DGD2 Christmas present £60 worth of duplo or £40 woo hoo, already got her a £10 (bargain) box so with her stocking she done :) Her birthday is Christmas week too, she's a didi car for that, can't wait to see her face. Last year or possible the year before on here I saw a box the OP had filled it with batteries and left a note to say "gift not included" just a thought xxx
Mrs M I look at your signature and think the same as your DH ha, just don't know how you find the time! You are one very talented lady :) Bless you DS, doesn't want to spoil it for his Mum, I've still not had that conversation and mine are 30 & 26. I do, I do, I do believe. How cute are those decorations and I have a tree just like that ha, I've bookmarked the blog to go back to so thank you xxx
Naughty Spot I love your name :) welcome to our wonderful thread X
Mrsinvisible avoidance tactics by any chance? I too was hit by the same this morning. DD had a child free morning (unexpectedly) so we went for a little adventure too xxx
Pigpen hope you are feeling better, or maybe you've already got somebody in mind to fill the Moses basket??? Did DH manage his Christmas shopping alone? X
Babyrut that looks a very simple way to do secret Santa thank you and welcome :)
Nic aww bless you, you do sound down. I'm hoping things start to turn around for you very soon xxx

I did years ago win at PTA evening several times ha just like Freespirit beginners luck I think but I got so excited, thought I was going to burst haha, I am a total embarrassment :) Hope you were lucky xxx

Bargain Bunny you did do well today :) What sort of cake are you after? X
Pinknfluffy that sounds like a lovely evening, I've not been to pick up my "tarts" yet but will report back on my findings :) xxx

Ooh, I'm Perky McJingles - I quite like that. I might even use it at a later date as a user name or something lol:rotfl:

Didn't win anything at bingo but had a good evening anyway. Didn't stay for late session as DD1 was getting a bit uncomfortable. She's very very pregnant now (think barrage balloon or small planet) and could only just get in between the seat and the table :D
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
