How do you know what is on offer ?
Do you just have to browse and hope you find one ?

They put them up on the homepage, or most of them! As already mentioned, you get a little timer and a "shadow" image of whats coming up, but I got a little obsessed and used to spend hours each evening browsing (mainly the toy section) to make sure I didnt miss anything lol!
I am going to be good this year, and will only buy things that are in my wishlist, as with all these things, it easily gets out of hand with the "ooh thats such a good offer, and that, oh and that" yup, I ended up with things that I didnt actually even like or want just cos it was 70% off! My bad!

  • Hi

Not had a chance to read all updates so apologies if already been said.

OMO - loads of stag stuff in the range.

BBTHREE - no spaces on breakfast with santa left at bents... Sold out weeks ago.

Finally bought the your home christmas mag... 2.99. Much better than the ideal home one.
  • I'm going to pop into M&S tomorrow I know they have their gifts and food online so hoping the books will be in store. I do so much prefer a book to online, little bit of tradition of looking through the argos catalogue as a kid lol.
Need to order a new studio christmas catalogue as Harper ripped our one to shreds. Ironically I only want one to order him a stocking that says Harper's First Christmas! Dad is going to go mental when he sees it which is going to be so funny :D

We had a free evening in last night used the cashback and 50% off at dominos for pizza and I had a free rental and popcorn from blockbuster code on my priority moments app so in fact they paid me to eat pizza last night!

Hi all I'm off Xmas gift guide hunting tomorrow anyone know which ones are out?
Loved reading the Tesco one last night. So tempted by Snowman and Snowdog cuddly toys but have enough for the children I buy for, especially DS
who loves the film the most.

Amazon put up deals hourly on the main page. Last year I got DS a watch for £20 and it was £240 in debenhams and a magimix food processor for just under £50 instead of £280

Hmmn this Black Friday is a new concept to me- find the unpredictability of it a bit unsettling to be honest. I'm not a gambler in the slightest. But DH wants a new Ipod for Christmas, perhaps I'll leave this til that week in case of decent deals. Are Ipods still worth having though? His old one is broke and he did use it but he also has a rubbish phone which often doesn't show messages properly so perhaps we should just get him a smartphone. I haven't a clue- will have to ask the teenage nieces and nephews lol. Technology moves so fast now it makes me feel old.
Did buy a new DVD player after much deliberation this week. Was only £20 in Tesco and unlike my previous 12yr old one is capable of playing new DVDs without freezing. So we're ready for some Disney at Christmas.
    Fiesty- good luck for tomorrow
Wuvvies- hope your op goes well.

Baby due this week, so Christmas prep on hold for us but I'm enjoying reading your updates and loving all the ideas.

Have spent an enjoyable evening looking through some of the links at the beginning of the thread. I have decided next year I am going to make more of my gifts. ( I have made a mini list :o ).

Fluffy.. as get an ipod and a separate phone you may as well get him an iphone and combine both items.. when you consider what you would pay for a new ipod and a new phone you may as well go with this.. If he previously had an ipod he will be well acquainted with the operation so using the phone will be a doddle.
