now i write what im planning on making for the week and give him the list to check if he likes it all. he can make any alterations at this point and if he changes his mind on the day then its tough!
Men! That's a good idea to write it down, I think I'm going to do that now. We've this evening agreed that ill plan week of food on a Thursday evening as I go shopping when off work Friday morning. That way he can tell me I he wants anything specific lol:heart2:DD born 11/04/12 :heart2:

Happy birthday Archiebear.
Re meal planning: I always have a rough idea of whats in the freezer, then i'll plan a week or two and hand it to o/h to see if there is anything he wants to add or take away. Then we shop for what we need. List is always on the fridge but he never looks at it, so when he gets home from work its a surprise whatever we are having. unless he has text asking earlier in the day.
He always eats it, but has been told on occasion that if he doesnt like it im not making anything else, he'll have to do it himself. Mostly i stick to things i know we both like though so never happens unless we trying something new.
I love meal planning :-) it has halved our grocery spend and i quite like not standing infront of the fridge wondering what im going to make with all that? Ive even made myself a colour coded spreadsheet for 2 weeks ahead (i have alot of time on my hands) it has meals planned out then different colours depending on if its from freezer or cupboard or if i have to buy something.13 projects in 2013 0/130 -
Evening all!
Sorry for the late arrival, but been busy tidying and sorting the snug, trying to make room for the new additions to my crafting stash. Spent a cosy evening watching an old Midsomer Murders and a new Miranda.
Happy Birthday Archiebear :bdaycake:, hope you had a great day!
Nanamia - hope all goes well at the hospital tomorrow.
Just realised it's tomorrow now, so I'd better go to sleep. Take care everyone xxx

:bdaycake:not been on during the day today archiebear but I hope you've had a really good day
xxx
We've had a funny old day today. Catching up on a bit of tv, lying about on the sofa, chatting, cut DH hair, pottered about a little, snoozed then DGD for tea and a sleepover whilst DD and DSiL went out for a meal and drinks with their friends:) It's been quite fun just chilling (house is upside down but hey ho!- it will still be there tomorrow)
News from the hospital today after me having a few words yesterday DSiL has been moved to a side ward, mental health meds which had been restarted have been stopped and are to be reviewed tomorrow. Of course this could be coincidence but it looks like somebody is finally listening
I do know it is totally selfish of me but I really can't thing about going away with her like this
I really do appreciate all your kind words and best wishes for DSiL especially Feisty, Snugglebunny, Freespirit and jakesbakescakes xxxx
Springdreams I'm loving your new year message you always seem to find the most delightful things:)
Island_mum how awful for you, must have been really scary specially thinking of what could have happened! Drink driving is a particular hate of mine, I agree with the other lovelies I hope they throw the book at her and I'm all for zero tolerance -no alcohol.
Thanks Feisty as always for your kind words:) x
Pinksteps that is such a good poem, it will be like a positive affirmation statement. Now all you've got to do is BELIEVE xxx
Emalou hope the toothache eased and you were able to enjoy your day. I feel for you toothache is just the worst!
Glad to see you Rosygirl how are you? x
Hanley I agree it was so nice of the dogs owner to find and thank you, you must have been a great help at the time of the incident. Can't believe how extensively the little thing was hurt:( And what sort of parent uses his children as guinea pigs to see how the dog reacts with them:(I would be tempted to make a few phone calls I think!
Chirpy I'm so glad to have you backyour little man so suits his name doesn't he. He is so a Franklin what a gorgeous little fella. I'm amazed how organised you are already with a 19day old baby- you put me to shame. X
Linky Linky Linky hoping sincerely that you are feeling better very soon. We miss you:( it's not the same here without you. I also hope it's a physical problem you've got and that you are not feeling low again. Always know that we love you very much xxx
(Is it bad to hope you are physically ill?- I think it might be-so hoping you kno what I mean) xxx
