  • Hi All...sounds like everyone's plans for crimbo are coming along nicely! I have just been to my local shopping centre..went in to Pr!mark and saw the jumpers. Must admit I'm not too keen as they look a bit tacky.

For those of you doing hampers, if you are going to your local T0by carvery for a breakfast anytime soon they leave out nice size sachets of hot chocolate by the tea and coffee maker, I'm sure they wouldn't miss a couple if you took one or two! Well they certainly didn't question the elderly couple that we're putting ten or so sachets under napkins and then into their bag hahaa!

I can't wait to be paid on Wednesday so I can get a few presents...I'm visiting Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet with my SIL on 27th so I'm hoping I will pick up a few bits there

    Xx

Delurking as after a horrendous 2013 so far, things are going in the right direction.
    Loved this board last year.
So far I have 2x razor streetsurf boards, both from ebay, both used but both in fab condition. Both boys had lessons at school and took to it like ducks to water. Have also picked up lots of chelsea knick knacks for my youngest. also the jelly belly beanbozled game for eldest lol looking forward to playing that.

Debating on real or fake tree this year...having woodburner fitted in October and puppy will be 10 mths old. Worried the woodburner will dry out the real tree, and fake tree would do more damage to dog if he ate it!. Although he wouldn't be left alone in the room, he, s a monkey!

On an aside reading fab interior design sugestions can I ask some advice, you guys are always friendly. We have chosend this wallpaper for our feature wall, we have an oak laminate, oak tv unit and shelves. Black leather sofas and cream walls. Just wondering what to do for cushions, curtains accessory bits. I have a beautiful cream heart lamp woth cut out bits in it and thought maybe tie it all in with that but not sure if it will work. Help?

Of course the change in colour also mean I need new christmas tree decs! They used to be teal and silver, going to have to getsome red ones now...what a shame :A

I am so fed up. I have no idea why. :(

Money is tight but no tighter than normal. I'm just fed up.

We won't go without at Christmas, but I'm still fed up.

Today I have got home from work and
Spent two hours watching trailers and earned a whopping 250 points on my nectar card. Downloaded the app again to see what I had on the card ( I don't go there very often). £13.10
The app offered my 100 points to sign up for emails.

So with the £1.75 I earns today I have £14.85 to spend in Sainsburys.
I will do some more soul destroying trailer watching next week and hopefully add to that.

I have opened my Christmas £5 tin. I have £195 saved in it. That did make me feel a little better. £100 will easily finish the presents I need, so I have £95 to take to London with me plus my bbf owes me her half of the hotel.

    So in total I have

    £100 cash
    £50 Morrison stamps
    £10 Morrison vouchers
    £14.85 in Sainsburys
2/3 of a biscuit barrel full of pennies.

And I still have 13 weeks to go.

Really no need to feel fed up, but I still do.:(

Eta Does anyone know what percentage the penny machines in the supermarket take ?
  • So what about you, what is your Christmas eve dinner, do you go all elaborate or are you like us & go for quick & easy?[/QUOTE]

We always have a raclette on christmas eve, it's the kids choice and they always choose it. Must admit I love it too.

I cashed in all my spare change last week at Tesco and it was 8.9p for every pound :)
