  • I hink the Cadburys Wishes in bags might be one of their new Christmas lines for this year, along with the Dairy Milk Mousse? dont recall seeing them before this year either

Our Sainsbugs has lots of both along with lots of the Cadbury Winter Wonderland bars which ive bought for Christmas Eve hampers

My day off today and DS is off on a TTD (love those - they always have one third Friday back in September and aso 2nd Monday in December  ) been very lazy!! went out for sausage and bacon baguettes and coffee, then we vegged out and watched the first free practice for the Singapore Grand Prix, now doing some washing etc - I really miss our family F1 weekends now I work all weekend, but I do get to watch it on Sky Plus as soon as I get home on sundays!

I got 2 nice gifts today on @mazon - the Man U annual for DS which came down in price quite a bit suddenly, and a biography of C0ldplay for DD which was 97p on Marketpl'ce plus 2.20 P+P, and its a new copy as well!! they are her favourite band so she will enjoy that - they were saying on the news again yesterday about internet shopping killing the high street, but where would I get that book for that price on the high street? not to mention time, petrol and parking costs!

Had a look online but nothing yet, though i've still not seen winter wonderlands either! Thank you though x

Noodles - thanks for your suggestions. I did get her a scarf a couple of years ago, she seemed to like it but I've no idea if she even wears it. My mam I can pick handbags, clothes, jewellery, undies for until the cows come home, but OHs mum I find it too difficult. I might have a go at a nice necklace perhaps, I've noticed other things she wears so might be able to get something similar that she would like.
I like to try and get people thoughtful things, last year I bought her a kit for a ginger beer plant as I remembered her saying she used to have one at home as a child, which when she's eventually got time to make it seems to have gone down well.

What's the crumb cleaner and where did you get it? Our Indian restaurants don't seem to have these but I now want one for OH, it'd be fantastic as he's forever making crumbs one way or another!

I've got the opposite can get things for my mil but not my own mother! Pic of you and son in law? Pic of all of you?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000T5K6DW/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE it's only at 1 indian and it always makes me feel messy! Lol but it makes sense really for them spesh after me n dh with poppadoms!

Katmum that's what I'm aiming for too. My dream is to be all done and dusted and enjoy December :) The sacrifices us parents/grandparents/carers have to make for the children :) haha enjoy the film x
Feisty I'm so very delighted, isn't it strange how these things happen and fate has its way. If DH hadn't have been of sick he might not have got to look at the shop etc or get enthusiastic. I'm really really hoping this is going to be the start of a new chapter for you both and who knows what will happen :) xxx
Murie hope you got your chores done! Yuk. And that DD and her pal did sleep not giggle all night! Their evening sounded a proper treat didn't it. I can not believe your DS ate reindeer on Christmas Eve OMG really, eating Rudolph on his special day!!!
Spendless oh I hate it when that happens, blooming cars! Hope it's sorted quickly and you won't be forced into doing too much housework. Hope your appointment went well too xxx
Poppygirl oh don't feel bad the stair gate buyers still got a bargain they were happy to pay. Think of it as an investment- banks do very similar all the time it's no different :) ha x
Jemtom I love it when your bargains start arriving and you can tick things off :) the magic begins xx
JustKaren I'm in the apple camp, I know hangs head in shame! I just love my phone, iPad etc my DGDs aged 2&3 have been using them since they were tiny too. Can't beat them in my opinion. But that is just my opinion. Hope you get sorted.
Mrs M I did chuckle, tidying the list!!! Now that is OCD :) but I now exactly what you mean :) And the brandy! Usually the other way around haha, people sneak there's in not out haha xxx
Justbe haha how's the Lego feeling going. I've not been near a shop today, feel likes it's a missed opportunity! X
Pickleinapouch what a name :) Hiya and welcome, that is a good idea for secret Santa
Hanley hi we've missed you. You been hiding? xxx

Mrs Hayes oh no yesterday's alarm disaster :( but I bet cuddles with a six week old helped to calm things :) it's ages since I've had a little baby to cuddle! Oh and smell :) Glad things went off better this morning, ease yourself back into work today ha. Hope you've enjoyed it xxx
