Went to the shops as planned today, but oh dear it was so busy! I don't usually go on a Saturday afternoon, don't think I'll be rushing to go there at that time again!

Nevertheless I did manage to pick up a couple of pressies. I got some pretty socks from BHS for my mum, as she has asked for ones with lycra in them. Socks - not very exciting I know! But we always buy lots of little pressies both useful and lovely in our house :)

For my dad I picked up some Nivea men sensitive moisturiser as this was half price in Boots - so a little heads up there if anyone is after some :)

I helped at our local charity shop again this morning and came home with some lovely new winter patterned gloves.

Not sure whether to drive to Tesco tomorrow or walk round our town's shops, I guess I could do both really! *thinking aloud* I shall do both I think! Haha :)

Sending you all lots of merry hugs x
  • Just seen the Monsters Inc onesie! Now does anyone think that getting a forth onesie is bad, its just for warmth reasons you understand lol?

Definitely not bad, especially if it means you keep warmer and can keep your heating bills down.:D

They have sold out of the gingerbread house cookie cutters all ready :( I was going to go back to doing these this year as the food hampers were too stressful and I usually do the gingerbread houses in batches - guess I will have to try ebay.

I think the site is a little misleading....it's says outs of stock directly under the info then if you scroll down you can still add it to your basket.

Big thank you for this! Just ordered it as DH told me to treat myself AND it will save a lot of time once I start the gingerbread batch ;)

Managed to get into our wee sainsburys today, matchmakers were £1, but as it's a tiny one they didn't have too much out :( May head to the big one soon :)

    Hi all,

Just a quick post to show you these coasters I've made. They're the first Xmas presents I've made this year and all the ladies in the family will be getting some!

Made from 4" white tiles, Cath Kidston napkins and some felt. I am really pleased with them!

    Hope you like them :)

  • Hi, what a day, lovely but busy. Went to ?Garstang with DGS and his dad and other grandma, to a fantastic garden centre. Got some winter bedding plants and had lunch there. Then we drove to Freeport outlet and had a wander there, got some pretty votive candles for DGSs cousin and a photo frame for other grandma and a lovely jumper thingy from Bench for his dad, so more to cross off the list.
Now I'm crackered, trampolines here I come. (much love the new name for tramadol- thanks to whoever it was who named them, I smile as I take them now instead of grimacing.)
