"Peppapig hahaha I know I'm so vulgar! But it's a big deal haha. I've been wearing huge enormous cotton knickers the comfy sort, moved on to pretty lacey knickers -large and now prettier lacier knickers in a MEDIUM tempted to wear them over my jeans ha. Was very very tempted to wear my size 12 dress inside out so everybody could see the label. Thankfully up to now I've resisted but it's been a struggle xxx "
This made me chuckle :rotfl::rotfl:. I know the feeling- not at the moment of course, 8 months pregnant my knicker size is getting larger by the day lol.
Noodles that is a good deal, I have lots of kids books already for Christmas (and Christmas eve), although i'm very tempted.... DS aged 2 loves "The Snow Bears", we got it from library and he had me read to him it lots of times. Then I got it in perfect condition from car boot for 50p.
I need something for a nephew who is 7 and has severe ADHD / poss Aspergers. Been thinking about this for a while and only while writing on here (was about to ask for ideas) have I had an idea for some sort of day out voucher- cinema or zoo. Reluctant to buy him books as he wouldn't be that fussed, not sure of his reading ability either. Toys, he has a house full but mainly plays on DS/ Nintendo Wii. I'm not paying £40 for a new computer game even if I wanted to encourage that and because he has so many I would worry about buying him one he already has.
Paid for pantomime tickets with Church this weekend for me, DS (2), my friend and her little boy (age 4) too. 10 days before Christmas, the church organises it so everyone goes to the theatre on a double decker bus. I used to go as a child and it was fab- hope DS enjoys it, mind you he's excited to just go on a bus lol :rotfl:.
Went to Primark Wednesday looking for Christmas jumpers, DH loved the snowman one last year, I went back to buy it a couple of days later and they'd sold out. Went to two larger Primarks and no joy either. So Wednesday our local one had some women's Christmas jumpers but no men's ones yet. I did buy a gorgeous hot water bottle in a teddy bear case (DS hugged it all round the shop) and they also had penguin ones (both £5). I think I'll go back and buy a couple as they were very cute. I finish work today, so will try to get to big Primark either this weekend or early next week to look for the jumpers. Did you see people were selling them at two or three times the price on ebay last December? Where's the Christmas spirit in that?.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Yikes, now I'm thinking I should get a Primark Christmas jumper now if I want one! I did rather like the snowman one when I saw them last week. Wouldn't normally buy until Nov/Dec, but if they're going to sell out...:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0

hi all back from the garden centre...they had a fair bit of last years and this years xmas stock out exciting!
I managed to buy 3 large cardboard trays-which i'm going to use for hampers, 2 x packs of penguin gift tags 39p each and a present for my niece, a bath dolls set (foam shapes that you stick on the tiles or side of bath) £4 from £10.
That's all but saw lots of bits for table centres for the wedding too...sure i looked crazy with my phone out taking photos of things!
Had a lovely lunch with a very dear friend and an excellent catch up :-) feeling blessed.

Has anyone printed off their Ideal Home Show tickets yet ?
Do they have the opening times on them ?
I have searched the website and can't find any. We are going up for the weekend and are trying to decide which day to go. Our booking says we can go any day.
On the day we don't go there we are going to the Southbank Christmas Market.
Tent is up and back down. It does have a built in ground sheet. So can really see no difference in the 2. Ds is happy with it, which is the most important thing.
We bought a tin of celebrations while we were camping and they went in the weekend. Didn't seem many in there. Although it does now have the cream egg ones.0 -
Ew, creme egg Celebrations! I don't like Creme Eggs. They seem to be on a mission to gradually ruin Celebrations for me, first replacing the gorgeous Galaxy Truffle with a flipping Twix, and now this!
Hi everyone. I've started sort-of thinking about what to get everyone for Christmas. Last year I decided in the end to not get OH one of the Primark dinosaur onesies, and now I'm thinking about it again so I might have to get him one.
