Hi all, I've started my Xmas shopping, got quite a few bits. I'm trying to think of what to get for my two children (daughter will be 10 months, and son will be 2 years old at Xmas) for their stocking anyone got any ideas?
Little touch and feel board book for 10 month old, perhaps one of the "that's not my" series. Hat and mittens. Hair accessories? A sippy cup or beaker. new bibs.
2 yr old: a mouth organ (harmonica) or "penny" whistle, little book perhaps with sounds at side. Crayons. Little car or train. Again new cup, cutlery etc
Also I put new flannels, toothbrushes etc from Home Bargains in all our stockings. Underwear, deodorants etc for me and DH.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

OMO I have reserved a dinosaur and some accessories including the football kit for DS. We have lots of baby clothes so will make a little collection of our own to give more choice. I loved real baby clothes for my dolls when I was little. New baby due October so this will be an ideal gift for the new big brother. Perhaps I'll give him the dinosaur with a couple of baby items, a cardi, hat, booties or socks when baby brother arrives. He can even have a nappy to play with
Then proper outfit and accessories at Christmas.
Or it may all get put away til 3rd birthday- either way I think its fab.
Got some gorgeous round dinner or tea trays in Home Bargains last week. Lovely pic of snowman and a cottage on them. £1.29 each so I bought all 5 for xmas hampers. Birthdays galore this month will try to post pics of anything nice2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Ive never heard of leather roses before but when Ive Googled them they do a black goth one that would be a perfect gift for dd .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I too have just googled leather rose - how perfect would they be as hair accessories!
Think I will wait until Monday to message her, I was tempted to try and twist it round to being better for her but she is so supportive she would brush it off. Will just tell her it will all be fine solo and fingers crossed![/COLOR]2024 Challenges

 we are going camping next Friday and I am so not prepared.
Doesn't help that we are going to see Wicked next Weds so I have only today and this weekend to get ready.
The trailer is still full of carp to go to the tip. ( me and ds are going to do this later today).
We don't know if ds is at collage next Friday. Went in Monday but the tools hadn't turned up, so he may need to go in any time next week.
I still need to get the porta loo. I am not taking the Kampala khazi. There will be too many people using it.
I am normally so organised, and this is frightening me .0 -
MRSGIGGLEWICK - thank you for the inspiration. My friend is getting married and the leather roses are exactly what she is looking for - never heard of them before. We are now trying to find a good tutorial for making them!0

Hi all, I have spent the day showing my friend all about the christmas elf ( after a visit to the dentist to have some of my tooth removed!)
I searched everywhere for some ideas and pictures of people who did the elf last year but cannot find anything. Am i going crazy ( well crazier than I already am) did we include it last years thread or was their a specific thread for the elf?
Am so trying to be extra organised ha ha0
