ALJA hope you catalogue comes and you get your christmas music on and make a hot drink and sit and drift into the christmas bonanza that is studio :rotfl:

Nipped out for a quick hour today with my bestest friend. She took me and my daughter to a few shops and we got a few bits.

Got a lovely cath kidston style make up case for £1.99 so I treated myself. Was thinking of getting my daughter one to put some play make up in. She is 3 and make up crazy but so scared of damaging her skin. What make up would people advise for play make up? Ideally i dont want her having any but she goes mad when i but my make up on x

    Hi all,
Been on holiday for a bit, so missed out on quite a few pages. Hope you're all ok and starting to feel festive. Noticed a few Christmas party posters going up, so it's coming closer...:)

Wanted to mention that in B&M they had Options hot chocolate with winter spices at 15p a sachet or 8 for £1. Bought some to add to my Pots of Christmas. Also had vanilla flavour for the same price too.

Thanks for the mention of Studio. It reminded me that this year I must buy some Christmassy bedding before it all sells out in King size like last year!

Thanks to all the girls in the Cross Stitch Cafe! You're all fantastic! :A
  • Hi everyone, just wondering where do you stash all of the Christmas presents you buy? I normally hide mine in a cupboard in my four year old twins bedroom but this year I just know they would find them so I need to think of somewhere else. The handle is too high for them to reach but I am not willing to take the risk. The loft is out of bounds because I'm too scared to go up there...creepy crawlies *shudder*

    moneysavingmumofone - Hope you're ok - hugs

Ruth_honey those hot chocs sound nice, will have a look out next time I'm in b&m love hot chocolate, has to have cream though!

Don't forget Primark has xmas'sy bedding last year but need to get in early!

PinkFluffyCloud - I hide ours in the spare room wardrobe though not got much yet, leaving it until nearer the time as other than craft stuff and books I cant think of anything else for dd (7) In our old house we used to hide them in her wardrobe too, they were built in up to the ceiling and to reach the top storage cupboard I had to stand on steps to reach so she had no chance! She was a good sleeper though and I could put things in whilst she was asleep or under our bed until she was at school and I could put stuff in properly!

I'm not sure where else, under your bed, your wardrobe, shed or garage? I've just thought when we lived in our flat I used to keep them at my mums?
Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:

Change of plan. The tents are now his birthday present. Totally forgot it was a week after Christmas. So I don't have to worry about that either now.:)

how much has this thread changed! not been on for so long and i nearly cried the other day when i realised its only 4 months until christmas

so far my ds has a chocolate football boot. No stocking fillers or little gifts or anything. i sat down the other day and wrote my list on who&what to buy for. my little cousins "princess" themed present is complete, and i think im done with one of my nephews. thankfully i have my clubcard and consumer pulse vouchers to fall back on so im doing the argos 2 4 £15 and getting my ds main pressie out of them, and getting my nephew/godsons present from the nielsen pannel.

and im getting my other little cousin a stroll and walk pram and have seen one on ebay bidding ends tonight so i have everything crossed i win it.

looking forward to going through the thread when i get 5mins, nice to see some new names and some of the old ones from when i was last on here.
