My son bought his nephew (my grandson) aged 6 "The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas" by Tom Fletcher & Dougie Poynter(from McFly) .
Grandson thought it was hilarious, as would most little boys I think knowing how they giggle at bodily functions..:o

A boy is given an enormous egg for Christmas and it hatches into a dinosaur who then proceeds to eat everything and everyone in the house, including Santa and his sleigh! The dinosaur then feels guilty and poops out everything  which is then cleaned and put back in place again so Christmas is saved.

Pretty disgusting but I've never heard my grandson laugh so much. :rotfl:
    .

This is so the thing I was looking for my cus and brother would love it :) thank you so much

That book sounds awesome, sadly the littlies I buy for are a tad too old for it now :(

Loving those plaques and what a bargain price too!

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    edited 7 August 2013 at 12:59PM
Still clearing out my 10 items a day. 140 down, 170 to go. I'm struggling to find things to part with now. All the obvious tat and junk has been binned or charity shopped and I'm going to have to start really evaluating what's important.

My space is already looking a lot tidier and more manageable though. I'll be a full-on minimalist by the time I've finished!

I woke up this morning with a full on ear-infection (lovely, I know) and managed to get a doctors appointment at 10.45. The plus side is that I had an unexpected couple of hours to fill while I waited (normally in work) so I got through my big pile of ironing and got to the post office to send a parcel off.

My new years resolution this year was to be a little bit more "together". When I told my mother, she said something along the lines of "The one thing you'll never be, Lina, is together". My brother and sister are the organised, calm, perfectly tidy and in-control of their emotions ones. I'm the scatty, over-excitable, rush-around, live in chaos and leave a big cloud of destruction behind me one. I need talking down from the ceiling on a regular basis.

I'm determined to be at least a little more in control of my life by the time Christmas rolls around, for my own sanity if nothing else:rotfl:

I'm looking for some inspiration for Christmas-ing up my porch.

    Here's my frontage ;)

Sorry I know they will be huge :o

Any ideas? The little square bit is 20" x 25". I just keep drawing a blank but want it to look nice!

What about a potted conifer? It would be our little secret that you have Christmas all year, neighbours only become aware when you decorate it. If you are one of those who has a colour scheme for Christmas, you could do it in your scheme every year. As it will be quite small, you won't need much to Christmassy it up.

Well you are on to a good start with the dark green door!!! I'd go for a huge wreath on the door in reds and golds, and perhaps a potted plant or fir as suggested?

Would a conifer look too small? The only thing I worry with having a 'real' plant was that it probably wont get enough sun, we had one at our old house and it died pretty quick! Can you get fake conifers!?

I have a fresh wreath with fairy lights on and decorations. I get one each year! It's a bit expensive but I think worth it!
