And breathe Feisty try and get some sleep, you know you will need the energy tomorrow. Please try to stop stressing over your finances. Right now it's more important that you are well enough to nurse DH through his convalescence, if you can't sleep try and rest, put on some relaxing music and count your blessings. This time last week you were worried you might not get your DH home, you haven't given yourself enough time to get over that yet. Lecture over, you are putting yourself under so much added pressure
You are doing everything possible to save for your deposit the rest is out of your hands. GET SOME SLEEP xxx

Oh no, my post has disappeared Feisty good vibes to you and Mr F this morning. Cut yourself some slack, you are doing loads of tough stuff, and still achieving. Its good to have goals, but not if they become shackles that stop you from enjoying life's journey.
Nana, !!!!!! is motivation? days spent with family, especially the grandnibs is most precious and rewarding, and cleaning? well, if no-one is in danger of catching typhoid, it's clean enough. My tip is take off your glasses and only let in folk who are untidier than you. (my mum used to put an opened tin of lavender polish under the sofa when her mil visited, and her mil always thought the house was soooo clean and had just been polished!)
Caitlyn, do you have a pressure cooker? mine has got me out of many a tight culinary corner, if you have forgotten to switch the slow cooker on, scop it in the pressure cooker for 15-20 minutes and the day is saved. Personally tho I'd rather have beans on toast made for me than a gourmet meal I have to make myself.
The idea of the seed bombs is gorgeous, and I may steal it, and put one into each of my Christmas cards, as I always try to put a little 'keepsake' type thing in for those friends I don't buy presents for.
My visa has arrived and I have collected my Yuan so fly day is getting closer. Have a good day all. xx0 -

MrsInvisible and Nana - I know you are both right, but I think it's my coping mechanism. I would much rather worry about things like downgrading to a not so nice home, because although severe and life altering, it isn't as scary as thinking/worrying about the scariness of DH health - these intense worrying sessions provide ideal distraction from the bigger/scarier picture.
The nurse that took DH ECG admitted that deciphering it was way beyond her scope. She kindly gave us a copy and now DH thinks he is out of rhythm againHe compared his copy to the copies we had of his heart in rhythm and out and he thinks it looks much more similar to the out of rhythm - it would also explain his breathlessness
Trying to be reassuring and praying it is all fine, but that big black cloud seems to be fully in residence over the Feisty household

Afternoon everyone, as you can see in my signature i am saving luncheon vouchers and amazon vouchers from my surveys for xmas, i got £6 of lv through the post this morning so as i was amending signature i thought sod it i am going to look on amazon now for xmas bits instead of waiting till end of year so have had a lovely 2 hours xmas shopping, i feel all excited, i love opening my wardrobe each morning and seeing all the wrapped presents mounting up (im sad i know) :rotfl:
NANAMIA the trouble with housework is its always flipping there, even when you have a good cleaning session, it takes five mins for it to start mounting up again, as you say spending time with loved ones is precious so we have to make the most of it
FEISTY i know how you feel worrying about finances and how the hell things are going to get paid, but when i have been at my lowest and worried sick something always turns up out of the blue and helps. Glad DH got checked this morning, hope it hasnt gone out of rhythm again
DOODYGIRL sorry i cant help you, i havent had to buy toys for a long long time im sure someone on here will know#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
*sneaks back in quietly*
Hi ladies, I've not been around for a couple of months. My fb business and website took off and I its now my main job. As well as looking after the kids and the house of course lol
Its lovely to see you are all still posting. I will go and read back a bit. I hope you are all well?
Its my birthday on the 1st of June. I always consider that the point to start thinking about getting the Christmas stuff started as that's half way through the year.
