Freespirit I love the cake pop maker already, yes it's gimmicky, yes it'll eventually lay gathering dust. I got the 12 @ a time cake pop maker at around £27 in lakeland, but I've since seen one in HB for £10.99 so not such a gamble. I made a cake for Saturday with pink cake pops inside so when the birthday girl cut into, the cake there was a surprise :) The cake pops went down a treat too, thought I could take the machine out to Oz with me DGD1 loves to bake and with the machine they only take 4 mins so are perfect for children as no waiting about.
Thank you for understanding it really means a lot, I really appreciate it- getting my big stick ready. night night xxx

Wilkinson had their own cake pop maker reduced down from £15 to £7 - may be worth a look :)

You can get a cake pop maker (silicon moulds) really cheap on fleabay, under £5. I've got on from a friend, think she's got it from WW and its fiddley to use. I made polka dot cakes with them, looked great but very time consuming. Easier to use for cupcakes. I personally cannot be asked to faff around with cake pops but some look really great.

Freespirit thanks again for last night it really did make a difference.

Feisty loving watching your signature grow :) Thinking of you both xxx sending you big strong be brave vibes as DH will probably be asleep and you'll need them more than him :) xxx
Craftymummy I know exactly what you mean, but I'm a fiddler :)

I've had a busy day today, playgroup with DGD2 this morning and hospital appointment with DD this afternoon followed by a little shopping trip :) DD is fine it was just a follow up appointment :) thought my shopping was ver mse but £42.70 at the till in wilkinsons arghhh. Couldn't even tell you what I bought! Long chat and coffee with friend who had all that treatment, she's doing really really well :) Trip to the hospital on Friday with the palliative care team review meds etc but she was on good form today :) bless her. The long phone all with BFF who is worried about me- she's such a good friend she knows me blooming better than I know myself and knew from a few text messages over the weekend that I was trying to put on a brave face! I must've done something right somewhere along the line to still have her by my side after 33 years :) xxx

Hi everyone, another daft oclock morning, never mind. OOOoooo that cake Nanamia, you are so talented. I love the idea of cup pops or cake pops yum. Now, look after you, I know I believe in kindness to dumb animals, but black dog is an exception.
Sending pre-op hugs, and vigil vibes, Feisty, chin up.
Friends birthday today, have made her a cake, with candles, but not up to the standard of this thread........ but it a)isn't burned (much) and b) rose (a bit) and c) the icing has stayed on. A success by Invis standards. Right, onward and upward, xx
