It's my favourite day of the year :j have lots to do this morning. Want to get it all done so we can enjoy relaxing and watching films together.
I have NORAD track Santa open on the laptop. Plus tonight the International space station passes over the UK at 6pm. If it's clear at all, it will look like Santa flying over.
Our Elf Jolly left a Chistmas Eve hamper for the kids. Dylan has already been down before me (I was up at 6:30am)'and he has taken his jammies and put them on and went back to bed! I'm a little annoyed as I wanted them special for tonight, but no harm done.
My sister is coming later to help make the puddings and peel the tatties. So want to go and get the bathrooms done soon, then the place just needs a quick Hoover. The dining room is all set, and looks lovely.
Hope you all have a great day x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Popping on to say I hope you all have a lovely day tomorrow.
And Happy Birthday CHRISSYG .
Will post a link to the new thread later in the week.0 -
Morning all,
Can't believe I'm stuck at work until 1pm, with no work to actually do, when I could be at home doing stuff. Still have to "help" Hubby wrap up pressies for his family, last minute food shopping, change bedding, visit dad, cook turkey....still trying to remain calm!
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, enjoy! xxxxx0 -

I think the 3 for 2 ends tomorrow.

Advent calendar all bagged up ( I got myself a playmobile one in the sale once advent had started ) ready to come out again once I get home, I've not opened today but I know its an angel... which is fine... but day 1 was Father Christmas! I think I'm going to swap them over for next year...
Pressies all loaded in the car, luckily managed to do it when the rain was only light its bucketing down now!
Now I'm watching The Christmas Takeover, not seen it before. While waiting for the washing machine and the cleaner to finish so I can go home for Christmas. Feel absolutely awful that the cleaner has to work on Christmas eve, and that she's currently scrubbing the kitchen floor (their cat is the messiest eater EVER!) while I sit here on my laptop
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Don't want Calling Mrs Christmas to end! Rationing myself to make it stretch a little longer xxx
Another book I enjoyed reading was Melissa Hill's The Charm Bracelet.
My DS and I are off now for a tour of Center Parcs, Longleat in a horse and carriage ride with Santa, to be followed by a visit to see the singing Christmas tree at Longleat Safari Park
It was a scarey drive up from London yesterday morning, as the wind was buffeting the car quite badly and the spray from the trucks and other cars were creating curtains of water, which made visibility terrible.
And the winds caused chaos with the trees here - we have half a tree just outside our window which had broken off by the strong winds from the tree tops last night! The staff were up early this morning clearing the pathways and roads of falling branches and broken trees.Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...

quick pop on to say merry Christmas to all you lovely people, and thank you for this year, all the laughs, tears and tantrums you have supported and soothed.
I'm glad that I met you all.
I,m not ready yet for the day, and the nibs are on top doh, we have made gingerbread men and crumblies and mince pies, and now we are going to plant apple pips t grow into trees!!!! then off to feed the ducks. So what if the beds aren't made and we have frozen chips for dinner, they won't notice that. But hopefully they will remember the fun things we did. Have a lovely Christmas everyone, hope you all get your stockings filled. xxxx0
