Yep, the best way to react (and annoy and irritate) a narcissist is to totally ignore them. If they see no reaction to their spiteful, pure nasty and often jealous behaviors, they go nuts! Ignore the toxic witch.

Sounds like you are seeing areas you can cut down and save lots of money (think fags!) and wishing you good luck. I've subscribed, so keep posting, talking, chipping away at the debt, seeking new friends, ignoring the toxic neighbour and generally making great inroads in improving your life and your future. I look forward to watching and supporting your journey.

Thanks for this, I'm guessing you may of been on the recieving end of a similar person. It has been a long long slog to get to this stage where I can ignore her behaviour.

Have managed to list the grand total of one yes one thing on ebay. I find it such a faff.

I've relisted/listed about 5 things on local fb pages and have sold 1 thing for the grand total of £1. But put together with yesterday's sales of £9.50 that makes £10.50 from stuff I no longer need. Not bad as a start.

Yes, I have been on the receiving end of it and until I found the way to deal with it it was very difficult. I studied narcissism very thoroughly, as I knew the person in my life who I suspected of being one was either a narcissist or a sociopath (a narcissist is just a step down from sociopath actually) Fight back, don't let the toxic woman drag you down. You're better than her and she's probably extremely jealous of you for many things (jealousy to a narcissist is a way of life, with everyone and everything, its their sense of entitlement) Ignore her with all your will, she'll tire one day and move on to another victim, a reaction is what they need and crave. Don't give it and she'll move on, eventually.

I struggle with the eBay thing too, I have loads to list and although I have the time I find it such a pain I can never seem to get it done. How about we encourage each other? can you list say 1 item a day (doable yes?) and I'll agree to that also. What do you say? if we can't let each other down, maybe the pair of us will get it done :D think of the money. I tried the FB route and no one bought, which surprised me a great deal, but FB local selling pages don't have the viewers of eBay.

Keep going, you are doing well, I'm here with you watching, supporting and egging you on, you can do it!

Deal! One item a day. I have a bid on the thing I listed yesterday and it was a 10 day listing so that's promising. I'm away today for a night so will start tomorrow if that's ok.

Thanks for you supportive words over TN. I've had all sorts, verbal assaults, music til dawn, coming onto my property and weedkilling and pulling up plants from my garden. The police have been involved but she acts like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. Anyhoo....I've got past the worst, I ignore everything she does now and I know it drives her insane, but it keeps me sane, and frankly, out of prison or hospital.

  • OK, we'll start with one thing a day starting tomorrow. This is the push I need to so we are helping each other :) Have a good night away.

My mantra this year is need not want. There really is very little I NEED. If I can do the year with this mentality I will be ok.

    I like this mantra.

Have returned with a back seat full of stuff to ebay. Thanks Mum!

Will really need to get onto it and keep to the list one thing a day. Have now collected £3.50 from facebook sales and £7 item being collected Thursday. Listing on ebay has 2 bidders and 7 watchers Hurray!

Cards have come thru for my new bank account (Basic Natwest) so must ring WTC and change details.

Might have to tweak petrol amounts on SOA as it has cost me nearly £30 this trip.

I drew out £85 on Monday and I have £7 left til Monday. This has paid for all food, petrol and baccy for the week. If I can keep within this figure (My Tax credit weekly payment) I'm hoping that I can use salary to cover all other bills and start to pay off overdraft with excess.

Still waiting for all statements/bills to come in so I can plan an attack.

Great idea to keep to that figure a week and only allow yourself to spend the tax credit payment. Look on that as your money and the rest (your salary) as money you cannot touch! I think that would work well for you. I would do that :D Well done on getting your item listed on eBay, I also have listed my one item.

We are good to go! :T :T :T
