Is the Co Op Bank really ethical and fair to customers?

1. Why is the information on the online statement different to the paper statement?
2. Can you hold your hands up and say you read every tiny bit of every correspondence sent to you by your bank?
3. Having read one statement on line, would you go away and read the same statement on paper just to check if it had different information? I think not!
2. No. But I make damned sure I know when I need to send payment for my bills and I always do it in good time. I also make a point of familiarising myself with charges and work out how to avoid them.
3. Becomes irrelevant if I've done 2.
As to your original question, move on if they naff you off so much. It's not that hard to do.0 -

I give up...
Sorry, I thought the topic was whether co-op was really ethical and fair to customers.0 -

THB, I don't understand why anyone would not want to pay off their CC bill in full every month (or min payment during 0% period). If you are temporarily short of cash, take out a loan or an overdraft - - - either are miles cheaper than a CC.
I don't see how an overdraft can be 'miles cheaper' as it's intended for a small short-time borrowing only.
Loan - maybe, but it makes no sense to take a loan to cover one-month cashflow problem - unless you face this problem every month or so.0 -

It's 21st sentry, not 19th. It's easy to do and costs nothing to adjust systems to show all the essential information both online and on paper. That's why it's called software.0 -

While I agree in principle, having been dealing with a software house for an internal project for the last 6 months, I can honestly say 'easier said than done'...43580 -

Online statements are always different. Online it only shows the front, on the back of the statement you get in the post will be a long list of information like this. Presumably the reasoning behind that is all this is available on the website.
I've read every bit of information I've deemed relevant, yes. Though I am clearly capable of ascertaining whether it is or not, whereas you aren't, so it's not really a valid comparison.
No, but I understand how credit cards work. You don't, so shouldn't make assumptions and ignore information provided to you.0 -

I wouldn't bank with the Coop because it has very strong ties to the Labour party.0

You are making the presumption that it's the same application.
Though they may be connected by data they are tend to be different applications.
BTW did you know Chrome and Firefox have extensions that allow you to have a spell checker? I use it on this laptop.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
