Why on earh would it make you feel better.

I think it's just petty and spiteful to be honest.
How does that make you feel.

Surely you would feel better by saying to yourself 'I;m not going to be spiteful and petty and cause the council more work' because I;m not that kind of person.

On the other hand revenge is sweet, and if they wernt so petty and spiteful themselves they might get a bit of respect back.

In that situation, id write a cheque and then set it in large brick sized block of clear epoxy resin........

But the people who have to deal with the admin of your 25 cheques aren't the ones who make/enforce the rules, indeed at the end of the day it won't really cause them any hassle - it's just work/a job they get paid to do, so really it's pointless.

I could understand if it were some sort of scammers etc but it's not.

    Exactly :T:T:T

But the people dealing with the cheques arent petty and spiteful,
even the people doing the car parks arent, they are doing a job,

Perhaps if the OP had checked a bit more carefully about parking restrictions all this would not have happened.

Not 100% sure - don't park, simple as that really.

But you could say that about PPC staff too...
  • As I understand, The council themselves do not get all of the fine, most of it goes to the contractors who patrol the car parks on their behalf.
And in all honesty the people who have to process the cheques will get paid anyway regardless of the work they carry out.

You sound like a parking attendant youself!
  • Bury council have quite a reputation in this way of parking enforcement, As I understand they do not even turn up at the appeal process, How much Local taxpayers money is this costing.
Anyway my original post was to seek the validity of paying by multiple cheques.

Personally, if you think you were in the wrong and want to pay then stop being so stupid and just pay with one cheque. On the other hand, if you think you have a case then continue the appeal.

If you were in the wrong then do the honourable thing and pay up, what is the point in being a pedantic twerp.

If on the otherhand you believe you were not in the wrong then take the appeal all the way, most if not all councils will reject any appeal formal or not as they just want you to cough up.

Merry Christmas by the way :D
