    Just by chance are these in directories (folders) as sometimes TV's etc do not like things in a folder? DG

    Don't Sony print the model number on a label on the back of the set?

    (I haven't been looking at TVs for a while, so I can't remember if that's the case.)

    pretty much every piece of home electronics made does somewhere
    IME on TVs its easily found out the back(excluding built in fittings!)

    Indeed, and if it's anything like my Sony there'll also be a menu option which displays product information (including model number) on screen.
