Problem withdrawing from a bingo site

I've won £1250 on comfy bingo - a site i'd not used before and put £50 on as my first deposit.
They've validated my withdrawal but are saying they can't pay it back onto my mastercard as mastercards can't have money put back onto them?
They've requested I register a visa card with them so they can put the money onto that.
Other sites i've used have just sent a cheque or put the money into the account linked to the mastercard - so i'm a bit stumped.
I don't have any other cards - so the visa card isn't an option.
I'm also a bit worried as I thought by law - due to fraud/money laundering that sites like this have to pay the money into the account linked to the card used to make the deposit?
I've never had any problems getting my money from other sites - and am worried about this.

Normally they pay at least the amount of the deposit to the card, however i believe this is normally company practice rather than a legal obligation.
Can you not just set up a free cash account card that supplies a visa card? Would be quicker in the long run rather than arguing it with them.0 -

I can't apply for a visa ard as I have a low credit rating.
I've emailed their accounts team to see if they can send a cheque or just pay into the account itself
Otherwise I've suggested as i'm married they could possibly pay into my husbands visa account instead
Will wait and see what they come back with.
A bit miffed as the payment was requested on the 1st december and they just contacted me today to say they are having problems paying it.Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!0 -
I could maybe have a word with my bank account peeps and see if they are able to make a one off exception and allow a reverse transaction/payment onto the card. Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!0

FWIW gambling sites often have arcane and bizarre rules regarding cashing out precisely in the hope that you'll give up and gamble the balance away. If you haven't had silly hoops to jump through before you've been pretty lucky!
I would suggest for £1250 it is worth biting your tongue and jumping through their hoops - they can dig their heels in longer and deeper than you, and for many of them being 'based' in various offshore tax havens, can make it nearly impossible to do anything more than rely on their goodwill and decency.
So - getting a visa card - will they go for a visa debit card? You will find many banks offer those on basic accounts meant for teenagers (ie credit history isn't important), or maybe they can fund a 3V visa prepaid account https://www.3vprepaid.com/ - the card has the visa logo after all?0 -
I've heard back from customer service accounts department.
They can send a cheque - but there are processing fee's and it can take up to 2 weeks.
They have requested photo i'd and proof of address
as well as a photo of front and back of card with a few digits and cvc covered up.
Don't have any photo i.d so have asked if they can accept anything else - worst case senario i'll just have to apply for an i'd cardNot really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!0 -
Would something like this be an option?

There are plenty of others available. I don't know if one would work for the purpose you need it, but there is no harm in asking.0 -
Is your mastercard a prepaid card?0

No it's not prepaid - they just don't issue withdrawals to mastercards
3.Due to MasterCard/Eurocard regulations, we are unable to pay withdrawals to these types of credit/debit cards. Therefore, if you make a deposit to your account using these methods, we will issue your payments via wire or cheque unless you have previously deposited using a Visa or debit card.
But for some reason they won't pay into my account - so i'm messing about trying to get a cheque out of them. Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!0
