3000+ posts does not get you 5 stars, i should know, i tried it with 5000 fake posts on my own account and it still would not do it0

GUYS THIS IS BRILLIANT NEWS ... THANK YOU !!
as a major campaigner for this facility .. haven't used the site much lately because of this ... and sheer chance that today i had the patience to go back 4 pages of "recent posts" and saw this announcement.
great to see this back .
please keep pushing to get more than 300 available.
pleased to say that it downloads quickly /easily onto hard drive to read at leisure off line.
any way you can get it to show more than 25 per page to save clicking through ??
new something good would happen today !!!!0 -
SPOKE TOO SOON !!!!!
i'd downloaded the 300 recent posts .... then went offline...read the first page of 25 but then when needing to go to page 2 ... it wouldn't and it needed me to go back online to be able to get the further pages ....
a really good reason for needing all 300 in a long list on one page !!!! Please!!0 -
To be honest I'm not planning to change it again.
I think it was needed - but its an added facility.
We won't be increasing it beyond 300 posts - it takes too much resource and slows everything else down. Also the way you can look at pages is a set coding from Vbulletin - it has to be clicked through the way it is.
Sorry its a disappointment - but its had a lot of time spent on it to get this far. I can't justify any more there are more pressing issues to be sorted. These changes weren't done by 'clicking options' they involve going into the code behind vbulletin and manually rewriting it - it's not a smlal job.
Sorry, but hope you like the new feature generally
