  • ButterflyBrain - how scary, but good that you scared them off before they took anything
    heavenleigh - lovely sentiment x

I've just done a freezer inventry and defrosted my freezer. A few things needed chucking as they had freezer burn (one part bake roll and some frozen veg that the bag had come undone). Glad I know what is in there now, and have lots I can use up over next few days/weeks. I will have a cookathon over next few weeks to use up bits n bobs and make sure that I have enough HM meals cooked for when I have my op.

  • Condolences to you too, unclebryn. Losing a loved one is always awful but the time of year just makes it even more so for some reason. X

    Hi all.

Jools I am so sorry for your loss. Sleep well, Iain.

unclebryn sory to hear that you too have lost someone close.

DG many thanks for the link you posted yesterday - suitably bookmarked, though I think Mr LW has the situation covered now.

Butterfly Brain OMG, how awful! My home was broken into many years ago, and I still sometimes get nightmares about it. They didn't get anything (dog + neighbour between them made them lose their nerve) but it's the whole "someone's been poking through my stuff" thing.:( I hope the police get the pond life concerned.

Didn't sleep at all well last night; combination of a lot of pain (double dose of morphine required), a horrible sense of dread because I'm going to have to have strangers in my house :eek::eek::eek::eek: *cries* and the fact that Dave sleeps on the bed (he sleeps on his owners' bed at home, and only has a very thin blanket with him, so no way can I make him sleep on the kitchen floor, specially with no heating) - you wouldn't believe how much of a double bed it's possible for a tiny Yorkie to occupy!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Jools & unclebryn There are no words that I could write which would bring you comfort, I have just logged on after coming back from food shopping with my DD .I am so sorry to read of your sad loss
I will remember you and your families in my chat to The Big Guy tonight, God bless you both and I hope your grief and pain eases in time .I can only imagine what you and Iain's Mum and your children are going through at the moment.Have a hug honey and know that we are all here for you when you want to rant and rail at the unfairness of life, which you will at times.Remember the good days, and try to cope with the bad ones.
All my love and prayers to you and yours at this very sad time .
