I think that A&L are only open Saturday morning (at least the one in Bath is), but you do still have Post Offices.

PS. We do seem to have two threads on this.

I think most banks have one branch in each large-ish city which will open on a saturday morning, at least. The websites will tell you. Where are you?

Wy do you need the bank to be open - most of them have some sort of "pop your cheques in" machine for deposits, and ATMs for withdrawing (can't remember the last time I turned up at a bank counter).
  • most of the banks around me are open till 1pm on a saturday..LINCOLN. I use Natwest and due to my work I always have to use them on a saturday, never had a problem with natwest, no matter what city/town I am in.
