I am claiming because I was made redundant and then became ill, is it not my right to claim CONTRIBUTIONS BASED as I have worked and paid my taxes for many years and my personal finances have nothing to do with it or is this benefit just for people who have no intention of working!!!!
I would love to be back at work but my personal circumstances and health do not allow that at the moment

Yes it's your right to claim it, you are the one who said you don't mind it they stop the money, but to claim it you have to do what everyone else does and go for the WCA, if you can't make it that day and have good reason then try and change the date, if you don't care if they stop the benefit then don't go.0 -

By the way if you don't attend the WCA and they stop your claim and you reclaim within 6 months they won't pay you until you attend a WCA.
Probably best to get it over with.0
