Thanks for all the replies. Some very valid responses, which I was hoping for to give me food for thought before I approach the subject with the wife.

As someone said, its been 2 months out of 3 years, probably far brief time to be passing judgement. I guess there is probably some worry from me too,kind of wanting things to be perfect and suspecting every potential fault is going to a life of misery
