I remember reading that making sure you were getting enough vitamin A could help this...get the carrots out, perhaps?

I suffer with this - get one of those net type body scrubbers that look like a ball of net curtain, and give them a good rub each time you shower, then use body lotion and within a week or two it will be gone. You have to keep moisturising though or the dreaded 'chicken skin' keeps comming back.

Dream cream moisuriser from Lush is good too - it really does last all day, and is excellent if you put ot on before you go to bed at night.

I have the same problem and find that the 'Buffy the Backside Slayer' from Lush works a treat. If, however, you want to be MSE about it, I also use baby oil with lots of salt mixed in (so it's really like a paste) in the shower (but be careful not to slip!).

yeah, i find that baby oil, grapeseed oil or olive oil with brown sugar or sea salt works well as a cheap exfoliating body scrub. sometimes i mix shower gel in with it to make it smell nice.

also, palmers cocoa butter is an excellent moisturiser. they do one that has exfoliating action too, so look out for that one. they're reasonably priced, too.
  • I never knew it had a name!

I take Starflower oil supplements, try to moisturise at least once a day and use a loofah in the shower/bath. Doesn't get rid of it completely though. I doubt anyone will notice though!
