AFAIK, you don't necessarily need a contactless card to make contactless payments with your mobile, but the phone has to have NFC. I don't think that G300 does.0

The two are not linked in any way. If your bank allows it, a sticker can be stuck to the back of your phone which acts as an enabler for Contactless purchases (and travel on London buses).0

Barclaycard introduces contactless 'PayTag'
It is worth saying that the sticker has nothing to do with mobiles at all. It can be stuck to any object.
I think NFC-enabled phones can do this without a sticker.0 -
G300 doesn't have NFC, so no you cant.
Also, mobile payment options in the UK are severly limited at the moment. Come on Google, sort Wallet out!0 -
It depends on the regime on your wing. Ask a friendly prison officercan i use my cell to make payments?
So if your phone is then lost or stolen, can the 'finder' purchase anything (up to a certain value) simply by waving it over the payment scanner?a sticker can be stuck to the back of your phone which acts as an enabler for Contactless purchases (and travel on London buses).0 -

Thankfully no!, those careless with their handsets are unlucky here, to make the payments a pin on the handset needs to be activated 1st and that section on the phone for NFC payments is enabled for a few seconds.0 -
What NFC? The question was about a sticker.
Barclaycard's (sticker) "PayTag is essentially an additional card for Barclaycard accounts, and will work in the same way as a contactless payment card." It "can be fixed to the back of any object".0 -

As you were Grumbler, I have a pay tag, and as you mention and confirms the poster above fears, yes the finder could make small purchases, with minimal worry, as the post was originally about NFC , I was replying in that context.
