Even we need help sometimes.... I honestly ain't deleted the tag though potentially it may just be messing up due to my phone.
By the way out of curiosity which part of the uk are you in that has these shockingly bad advisors?0 -
east midlands, out of 2 months signing on i have only met 2 nice happy advisers both female the males I met one of which was a bit aggressive he was lucky as I had my kid with me
Ah ok I'm in the mids, unfortunately there are some bad uns out there who are on a power trip but most of us are ok. We're just doing our job at the end of the day but I guess it's easy to become a little jaded with the abuse we put up with.0 -
The Jobcentre is suppose to be there to help people to get a job, not to police the unemployed.0

Well as God DOESN'T exist.
I just love the jobcentre. When i signed on tuesday i got told, "Is it even worth you coming down here as we're only going to keep sanctioning you."
As for the job match, as someone who has been long term unemployed i find it hard to understand how i and this is one of there so called matched jobs could get a job as a RGN nurse at a childrens ward, when i have NO MEDICAL background.
and as someone else has mentioned when you put a low milage, example upto 10miles and your list of jobs tells you to apply for jobs in liverpool, scotland, northamptonshire when you live in hampshire.
And whats more annoying is when you go to the jobcentre and they say theres loads of jobs available, yet on the news you hear more job loses are coming, and businesses are closing down.
Then you the "Customer"< am i buying anything nope. who try to make a complaint against the work program, LOL, a place thats suppose to be helping people getting back into work, who cancelled my last interview with them and have yet to make me another one.
And get told by the jobcentre thats my job to do, weird i dont work for the work program i was sent there to get help. its frankly not my job to tell me when i have to go.
To get told and this is funny, they are really busy. erm why, oh yeah, because of all the people who are unemployed. the others who are also finding it difficult to get back into work because there are no jobs out there, certain jobs require certain skills and qualifications, if you havent got them then you cant do them simples. Yes you can train to do them but knowing full well how slow these people are that are "helping" you. hell will freeze over first.
As for johnnytwostep comments i suggest he stops putting his foot in it. maybe he should change his name to johnnyoutofajobforlife.
tar johnnytwostep for the spelling error.0 -
Why are they sanctioning you, for not doing as you are told?
and i think you mean change my name to 'johnnyoutofajobforliFe'0 -
