It wil NOT get people interviews or jobs!Johnnytwostep wrote: »What is wrong with that, monitoring job searches?
They can demand you apply for anything which I will but I can not demand a reply from the employer, feedback or an interview.
In fact once you have applied the job centre want nothing to do with the job advert or your application, just as long as you have applied! We’ve had to remove your signature. i posted on here what I found in the page source info (right clcik V) it shows that they load a blank gif image for some sort of tracking, if it is used for tracking what we do then bloking the domain in your router will stop this. or you can block all cookies but then you cant log onWell has anyone heard the latest news today that from next year people who are on Jobseekers will have to sign up to UJM if they refuse then they benefits will be stopped!

Telegraph notes that “The tracking element of the programme will not be compulsory as monitoring people’s behaviour online without their consent would not be allowed under EU law.”
So claimants won’t be able to refuse Jobmatch but they can definitely refuse the monitoring aspect of the system.

Jobmatch is designed to spy on claimants in order to find excuses to sanction people. There’s also the fact that it’s an incredibly badly-designed site and could very easily be used for identity theft.0 -
if they are not looking for enough jobs, and doing what they are told this is a good enough 'excuse' to sanction people0

Ujm is not designed to spy on people at all, like we have the time! Exactly how could your job search activity be used for identity theft?0 -
They just worried about having to look for a job and actually being offered one.0
