Looking at Broadband and phone line as just moved into a property (I don't have a prevoius supplier)
The O2 package All rounder comes in at £19.25, Is this good value for money? Is anyone with O2? I have a mobile with them and on that side of things up to this year they have been fine.

Not really....The actual price is £25.50 but anyway....If you are looking for a promotional deal then try Tesco at £20.25 a month....and for the first 12 months it's £16.25 a month. £3.00 cheaper than your deal during the introductory period and ongoing it's £5.25 a month cheaper.Looking at Broadband and phone line as just moved into a property (I don't have a prevoius supplier)

Do you not need a call package with free anytime inclusive calls? O2 charges an extra £3.50 a month...Tesco charges an extra £4.50 a month.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Right I'm off to look at the tesco deal you have mention

For 12 months...it's not that price for ever. Are you willing to switch after 12 months and every 12 months after that. It's quite a hassle. Do your mobile plans include calls to 0845/0870 numbers? Do you ever call those numbers?I work mon to fri 9 to 5.30 so no point having anytime cllas, I have two iphones  yes two one work which I am allowed to use and my own personal one so I think I am covered on the anytime calls! Can't say I do phone those numbers and if I did have to I can use the landline at work
Which company offers longer then 12 mths? just talking to Tesco and there deal is a 12 mth contract I quote:
You can get bundle package : phone line + broadband package, there is no set up cost on 12 months contract.
We've a Tesco Broadband (£2.50) + Inclusive Evening & Weekend calls (£13.75) = £16.25 a month.
You'll get 100 GB per month.Aspiring to be financially independent.... from my parents!0 -
Which is why I always quote the ongoing price. Introuctory offers are good but it is a hassle switching broadband suppliers and isn't something I would not recommend too often if you can avoid it. As I quoted above the ongoing price is £20.25 per month which is one of the cheapest rates around. Can't say I do phone those numbers and if I did have to I can use the landline at work

If you are considering FTTC internet then plus.net is doing a very good deal at the moment. £19.99 for the broadband, £13.99 for the line rental. There is an introductory offer that will save you £10.00 a month for the first 6 months. You need to pay for P+P of the router upfront £5.99. Even though it is more expensive it is much faster than ADSL.:footie:

It is not necessary to switch to get another deal every year. O2 retentions normally offer another six months free!
OP - O2 broadband is far better than resold Tesco broadband. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I've been with 02 for about 3 years now for phone and broadband, and have never paid the full price. A retention deal has always been available, along with the £5 mobile discount. No free lunch, and no free laptop
