I got told off by a mod for having a 5 line sig and was told to cut it:o
I made it short and change it between different pale colours so I don't get shouted at again - but you can easily click & highlight it to see what it says!
Freebird....scared of of mods, ducks quickly and runs away......:cool:0 -

I was told off too, so now I always click on the "Show your signature" and remove the tick, before I post. What they can't see they can't moan about. I only show the signature in here - they mustn't come into this thread cos they never moan about itMortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

Smartypants! I never remember to do that.
Was going to do a carboot today but forecast was awful so left it - just looked out and it's glorious sunshine......don't these weathermen realise we're trying to pay off mortgages here???
Persuaded OH to let me do matched betting in his name for a cut in the profits (any quidco signups) - already have £85.20 tracked.
When you start thinking about it and really getting into it, it's surprising how many ways you find to raise money - especially as I thought it would be really hard as summer is dead in my line of self employment.

I'd never thought of doing that! It works well but with it being overcast today I can see it better! Hey Guys,
Does anyone know if you can over pay a mortgage either directly with the provider or the credit card company with a MasterCard? With this CapitalOne card it would be great to get 4% cashback for overapying your mortgage!0 -
Hi Jimbobc, welcome to the forums. In answer to your question I think it would be classed as a cash withdrawal so I don't think it will work unfortunately. Good thinking though, if we all keep thinking laterally and coming up with ideas, it won't be long before we reach our goal. Its amazing how much you can shave off costs without really trying. My oh doesn't dare buy anything anymore because he knows I can get it cheaper (quidco, clickthrough vouchers etc). Happy hunting!Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

Hooray! I have remortgaged from the rubbish old provider to a new (hopefully less rubbish) provider, Woolwich, and they have received my saved-up overpayments. But Woolwich have stopped online mortgage account access, so I'll have to phone or go into the branch to get updates.
I'm getting used to not spending so much, and have my own spreadsheet to watch the account balance falling. We're all so good! Well done everyone!Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0 -
well done TTBG, its a good feeling watching the balance go down and realising that you have saved a lot in interest payments. Keep it up!Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000
