You only owe 15.3k Daisy - that does not fall in the 'crapness definition' zone. Hope hubby is making good recovery, hopefully if you've been overpaying for the last few years that took a little bit of financial pressure off.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
