Apologies for the delay in me reporting this time, there has been so much going on round here that I haven't had the time mentally before now to sit and do this and enjoy doing it!

There are some fabulous results and when I look at how much peoples mortgages are now compared to when we started there are many reasons to feel very proud of yourselves.

It would be great if we can get the numbers of active members back up, as it stands we are down to 36% of those who signed up being classed as active members. Just imagine what the figures would be like if more people reported in, I am certain that the other 64 have carried on reducing their mortgages.

I have roughly calculated that to reach the goal of the 48 active members over the next year we need to collectively find just under £32 every hour!

Keep going you are almost in the home straight :D

I was thinking the same - there is a MFI3 Part 2 thread but thats running already and I dont want the hassle of updating in 2 places.

If anyone is interested, once this challenge is complete, those of us who still have mortgages could set up another group.

AnW'sMum / Dithering Dad: Thanks for the mention on the take 2 challenge.

I've not gave up on this challenge - I do still read and occasionally contribute here, but due to simple mathematics - 4 mouths to feed and one income, I won't be mortgage free at the end of this one...

So I decided on a second challenge and Maz123 is helping out with it. For those of you who have not yet read through the info in the fist few posts, it's another 3 year challenge, with registration between now and December 2009.

The challenge then runs from December 2009 to December 2012. The idea behind that being that everyone gets a full 3 years to launch themselves into the challenge. So in reality, there is only a 3 month overlap between MFiT and MFiT-T2.

Hopefully it's straight forward, but I'm happy to answer any questions anyone has.

Quite a few of us from this challenge have signed up ready for the next one. I have, FB has and Cazmanian_minx has off the top of my head.
I always knew that I wouldn't be clear in 3 years so hope to be clear by the end of the next 3 year challenge.

I think it is a great idea if some of you want to carry on but hopefully I shall be MF by that time.

I would like us to make it a real sprint towards the end and suggest we do updates once a month to really monitor our progress.

Sounds like a good idea. I'm still waiting for all my invoices to be paid and to close my company down, so I won't have very much to update for a couple of months, but then I'll have a doozy of an update! :)
