I went to get the children from school yesterday evening and came home with a kitten!
One of the Mums had found her looking lost- apparently she'd been in the bushes all day so she caught her at school time and was going to take her to the RSPCA. She didn't want her as she's got a new baby. One of the other mums brought her in and was asking around to see if anyone wanted her- no-one did. Then DS saw her and demanded we take her home. So we have!
DH wasn't too chuffed but every time no-one's looking he's there cuddling her and talking to her. Hopefully she'll keep him company when I'm at work!

Just had to post as siggie updated to £21k, (did loads of work this month and managed to squirrel away £1500 for mortgage payments. Still got enough stoozepot in to stop me having to pay interest so thats great!

Looking forward to the next update!

I only hope that by the time I come to remortgage in 2010 I will be able to get a stoozepot going too. Then I'll be able to dramatically cut my interest bills. I'll have 36K outstanding on my mortgage by then. If I was able to get a £36k stooze pot then I would be able to clear it in 27 months or thereabouts!
I'll check nearer the time with balance transfer fees etc but my worry atm is more about what on earth the interest rates will be doing by then- who knows!
