NO. NO. NO. Here's hoping I don't get lost while out for a drive at the weekend
Kiwi........
Sorry ali007
Can't tell you it's horrible 'cause it's notJust think of the money you could save by growing your own fruit & veg on that plot. That and the fact it's not near the shops should help with the morgage repayments
Would need to grow something highly illegal if it was going to help with mortgage repayments
At the moment my desire to pay off mortgage is outstripping desire to move, so best not to go to see it  . 100 months till all mortgages paid off :T  :T  :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Yes we are finding it REALLY hard at the moment . . . just about broke even this month from the start of the year (not as bad as it sounds as spent £2,500 doing up the other house to sell and extra £2000 in mortgage repayments on it) but then OH's van died so we had to buy a new one last week so now another £1,300 behind. It won't be so bad provided the sale of the other house goes through but these things never run smoothly!
Oh well we'll keep plugging away at it . . .
And ali007 - if you buy that house we are having the MFiT party at yours - central location, plenty of space for us to camp in the garden . . . !!!!:j MFiT Club Member 14 :jMortgage Outstanding 01 April 2007 - £51,051

e) no good as I want a double oven & I only have a single one at the mo.
f) might try this - they're not very good with sausages though are they??????
d) will be having a range.....
Tell me it's horrible....... please someone. Tell me not to go to see it.....
You grill sausages
Surely that's what frying pans are for?
If this is what you want to hear: the house is horrible
(I don't really think that though)0 -
I think its terrible too.....
....you wouldn't want to make the most of the blank canvas garden with the rural outlook over the picturesque St Mary's church....
...or the opportunity to put your stamp on a lovely old stone building that's crying out for some TLC...
.....nah, if you know what's good for you, I wouldn't go there!:p
In fact, sadly, if it was me, wild horses and us lot wouldn't keep me away from viewing - too tempting!!:rotfl:Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I prefer my sausages on a BBQ
As for the house - go look anyway. Trust me you will regret it if you don't. We've looked a quite a few houses recently with only 3 measuring up to what we want. One has a spiral staircase - so that knocks it out for me, one sold before we could get an offer in, and the 3rd one is 2 hours drive from here and my darling grandchildren! Oh me oh my - what to do?Struggling too much wears a body out

Ali - Your new neighbours have a swimming pool and tennis courts - you can see it in the aerial view.;) Go round and ask to borrow a cup of sugar/ tennis racquet.:rotfl:

OMG you're stalking me & I've not even bought the place :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Yes, it would be a money pit. Especially with an extension over covered area & barn to create master suite, putting a bathroom upstairs, turning barn into dining room, covered area into glazed sun room, enlarging kitchen into bathroom, new windows, central heating with no mains gas....... then there's the garden........ not that I've been thinking about it of course
It's silly as kids are grown up so what's the point of creating ginormous beautiful home to rattle about in while I starve to death trying to pay mortgage. Plus, it's a hamlet with no shops or even a pub  .
SO CAN YOU ALL SHUT UP ABOUT IT PLEASE

MoneyBackMadness have just paid out for the first time to be £36 not bad, check you accounts if you have one.
The house look beautiful and huge already but then again I live in a shoe box. As for the pub I grew up in a hamlet that only had a school and a church that was it.Save £12k in 25 No 49

How disappointing that Channel 4 have removed their overpayment calculator from their site - even though they have a "How to be mortgage free section!"
It was one of the simplest and personally, my favourite calculator
It's a conspiracy!Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!
