Anyone else on Sky for email?
It has changed to Sky Yahoo and it says you have to agree to this-
Yahoo!'s Privacy Policy and the Yahoo! Cookies Notice and I agree and understand that to deliver product features, relevant advertising and abuse protection, Yahoo!'s automated systems scan and analyse all email, instant messages and other communications services added to the Sky Yahoo! Mail service.
Does this mean it is going to be reading my emails?

It's only 'read' in the sense that they scan for keywords in order to deliver targeted advertising to you.
Exactly the same as Google does every time you do a search. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Wasn't Sky email on GMail before? In which case 'it' was 'reading' your emails already. Ever wonder how you get adverts for cars when you're emailing someone about the car?!0

the Yahoo update might be interfering with the wonderfully awful McAfeeeeee.... i have no idea how, however.0

I don't usually see any ads because I use an ad blocker. I was just concerned about the privacy issues if I am agreeing to them being allowed to read my email.
Will have to stop sending saucy emails, don't want the Sky/Yahoo people getting a free look

But you miss my point Jamsi - if you're using the current Sky email, which is provided by GMail, you've already agreed to Google 'reading' your emails. Now it's just changing to Yahoo. Any saucy emails you've sent have already been read and used to advertise to you!0

The new Sky Yahoo email is substandard compared to the previous system.
Not surprisingly the Sky Yahoo email system keeps crashing just as often as the mainstream Yahoo email. You cannot browse emails quickly (go 4 pages back in your Inbox quickly and it cannot load) and commonly seizes when required to open and delete emails in quick succession. The least said about Yahoo security the better.
Why did Sky make the most unintelligent decision yet to use the Yahoo platform which was known to be a poor performer in terms of stability and security? :mad:0 -
You could like i do is redirect all sky mail to a gmail account.Works perfectly and its pushed instantly unlike the crappy yahoo service.0

A week later and I still don't any access to my Sky email account.
Sky have been very quiet on their forums today, with no updates that I have seen as to when I will have access to my email.0 -
buy a domain and route all mail back through it to your main inbox
that way whenever you sign up to a website you can use a unique name and track where the spam is coming from0
