It's just optimising their marketing, just like people continuing to use B&Q instead of Screwfix, same stuff, same owners, lower prices. However, if you are remotely into cars you use your local factor, always cheaper, always more flexible and always giving heads up on the deals. (like all the cheap tyres now going begging because of the new labeling).
Just checked Blackcircles, I don't see any great deals??
Who is doing cheap tyres? I need some.0 -

Not sure if its an instant thing.
I think the time frame from ordering online to collection is 1 hour but I don't think that is a hard and fast rule. I used click and collect once and the local store phoned me within 30 minutes telling me it was ready. Not sure why they phoned though. It's just optimising their marketing, just like people continuing to use B&Q instead of Screwfix, same stuff, same owners, lower prices.
Screwfix have just opened a new store right behind the B&Q in my town. :rotfl:0 -

its down to the retail experience a lot of people like to go in and look at the stock before buying. The screwfix in my area is like a builders supply store. You go in - look through the catalogue and order your parts (similar to argos). With bnq you can go in and look at all the stock and hold the items in your items and compare them.0 -
If you need cheap tyres right now, go to a local independent who will have access to a pile of cheap tyres that were sellable a month ago, but the big chains are now rejecting because of the new labelling system0

ahh damm. I'm changing my wheels to bigger alloys. Not sure what size I'm goign to get. Which makes it difficult to buy tires. :S0 -

im not sure. a few times I reserved and then went out and drove 5 mins to the EPC store and they processed the reservation fine. I would imagine their cashiers and web reservations are all in one system so it takes place instantly.
The only real issue is that to use a discount voucher you need to make a minimum purchase of £10. This stopped me from picking up an engine flush on impulse using the web discount method as it cost a fiver.0 -
Anyone got a working discount code for carparts4less.co.uk? SAVE5 no longer works for 5% off.0
